“Visited the Lakeland store in Solihull Tuesday 9th August and I have to say the Customer service there is outstanding . There was a member of staff who helped me to find what I wanted and then as I approached the till to be served as the till position was busy another member of staff quickly signed on to another till and called me over . The store itself is well laid out and clean and exceedingly tidy . What a fantastic team !!!”

“We visited the Solihull branch in late July to look at carpets for a home office. We sought advice from Lee, who was really helpful, honest and not pushy at all, which we really appreciated. We had booked for the fitting to take place end of August but due to stock issues, this was moved to mid September. The fitters did a great job and we're really happy with our new carpet.”

“A really super shop. In my opinion, you need to spend some time in this store having a really good look around as the grest buys aren't always easy to find. I partirecomnend bedding, towels and storage. Parking is not onside but nearby. Store is in 2 levels, 1st floor is accessed by lift or escalators.”

“The whole experience from start to finish was helped along by numerous members of staff without even as much as an eye roll, they were helpful and understanding as I'm not well versed on wood work and they directed me to everything I need. However one individual stood out to me, Jay who was on the tills that was lovely the customers in front of me were rude to her and she still smiled when I approached, she helped me save some money as well. “Robert Dyas is a chain store, so Solihull differs little from the other outlets such as the one in Stratford upon Avon. There is a large range of domestic goods, including electrical equipment such as kettles. It is also possible to buy IT items such as leads and adapters. Other merchandise is reminiscent of traditional hardware stores. The goods are clearly displayed, although the gangways between the shelves could be wider. Service is very good. The small queues at the checkouts were handled quickly and efficiently. Although the access is suitable for wheelchair users, the store is located on a street where there is no parking”

“Had ordered online to collect in store. Ordered 2 tvs at black Friday prices. Went to collect and only one was showing. Due to the fact the store has zero phone signal I couldn't access my online account to prove otherwise. I had to leave store to get the info and then return to prove I'd paid for 2. They said it only states one and I need to speak to customer services which I can't do in store as no signal. After waiting for over 15 minutes on the phone in the car park to be told only one had been ordered and its a 'ghost order' that should be refunded. Even though the manager informed me there were actually 2 tvs in store . I had to go back in store and buy another and the price had increased since to £40 more. Thankfully the manager Callum was very helpful. He honoured the price I had purchased it at originally.. I would only have given 1 star if it hadn't been for the way the manager handled it”
