“Amazing weekend at the Great House. Rooms are lovely with amazing 'rainfall' showers. I did walk into the bed frame a few times, though... ?The breakfast choices were good, not excessive, that you can't choose. The food was fresh and very nice. I particularly enjoyed the Eggs Florentine & Welsh Breakfast.The service was excellent ??They helped organise a large group booking for Sunday Roast, answered any questions, booked taxis, dealt with a wedding party, etc. And didn't appear to lose the will to live by the end of it all ? ? definitely an achievement.Would highly recommend.”

“Very much enjoyed our stay here at the Manor! Loved the traditional features mixed together with the beautiful decor of the rooms. Very welcoming and friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. We stayed twice on 2 seperate occasions now and have not been disappointed. Rooms are lovely and clean with fresh bedding and linen. Soft lighting with a touch lamp making it easy for early morning feeds with a newborn. Very family friendly and would highly recommend.”

“Firstly, cannot fault the staff or cleanliness of the room. Absolutely superb.Location was perfect too.The room was a bit basic with a worn carpet, and the smell in the hallway was. abit disgusting (like stale weed).Two plugs in the room too.But it was comfortable and just what we needed for a basic hotel. You get what you pay for and you get what you need l.”

“Came here for a date night. Beautiful restaurant, fantastic food and very generous portions. We didn't stay the night but if the restaurant is anything to go by, I can imagine the hotel rooms being very grand.Food & drinks: Beautifully presented food, wide selection and fast service. Best meal we've had locally for some time.”

“Very nice room clean reception staff friendly. in the town so not short of shops, I came on the train didn't see anywhere for car parking, so u would have to find out. recommend staying here????”
