The common areas are a little tired looking. However, the room was clean, with a bath and a powerful shower. All the staff we saw were very pleasant and helpful. We didn't use the lounges or restaurant as we were visiting family.Only twenty minutes walk from the Biscuit Factory gallery, and about the same to the city centre. Jesmond has all we required, great cafés and shops.

The room was clean. Looked nothing like the pictures online though. The restaurant is closed, apparently for remodeling. Not handicapped accessible.

Nicely furnished rooms but basic and thin walls means you can hear your neighbour's "activities".Good value and handy location.

The hotel is a little tired and needs investment.I feel that the prices are too low and need increasing, not by a lot, but just to help with some investment. Maybe £20 pn on the top.The hotel is not doing food, even though it is advertised so.My room was cold, however the hotel did switch the heating on, on the last night.Would I return, maybe not. That's a shame as the staff are good and it's in a good location.

1. When booking it said car parking available. Confirmation letter said parking was limited2. No evening meals, despite showing pictures saying breakfast lunch and dinner availableThe above 2 points are ALWAYS a requirement for me.3. Plugs had no power when I got in room. Was sorted though

Booked 2 rooms - 1 x family of 4 & 1 double for ourselved Everything just right. What can I say about the breakfasts - super food, large selection & served by the nicest staff. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay in Newcastle so good.

The hotel is well situated in the heart of bustling Jesmond. We were there for our son's graduation. The hotel did a job. Although the hotel was full, it didn't really feel like it was open. The bar was open apparently but the shutters were down and it didn't feel very welcoming. There isn't a proper car park, buy there are a few spaces front and rear. Would recommend Saray for something to eat and the Caledonian for a pleasant evening with a drink in your hand.

Nice family room, three beds, new looking bathroom. Service, staff, breakfast, bar, no complaints. The nearby church and river walk have a great charm, 10 minutes to the nearest metro station.

WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN, NO SERVICE, After 9.5 hr travel checking in at 8.35pm the restaurant had already closed, no room service cleaning during my stay, guests at reception were asking for loo roll, clean towels etc. TV control was disgusting as main area for contracting germs/ infection as hand to mouth situation watching TV and consuming food.Nearby activities: Travel to sports venue was only 8 mins away so ideal location but only that aspect.

Ok so its in Jesmond, so party town, There?s very little parking, its clean with a new bathroom with very smelly drains When I arrived I noticed I was next to the breaks stairs and that the neighbours above were pretty noisy, and here I am writing a review at 2;30 am, its too noisy to sleep, and I would never stay here again, the woman on reception wasn?t interested at 5;30 pm and I don?t expect her to be interested at 8 am when I leave for work having left the to on at full volume
