Impossible to get served to collect an online order. 3 staff wandering around trying to remove a security tag for another customer. Lack of training and lack of management on the shop floor. Really gone downhill here, best avoided.

My experience was good in this store if I only use the self service machines without problems. As soon as you interact with the store employee it's a different story. Why are they so rude and indifferent? No care or even understanding. Has Boots given up on customers service? This store, in the past, was not a bad store. What on Earth has happened to the Boots brand?

Avoid unless there is no other option for your prescription. Dates for the relevant staff rotations23/12/2023 : Called at 11 am to check if my medication was in stock, told it was, as there is a shortage worldwide I always check since its quite far from where I live.This is sometjing I need due to my disability and its a sched.2 controlled.Went to store by 2pm and...the only bottle they had was actually for another person's prescription (so they logically could not dispense it). Said they would order, ok, left already miffed.26/12/2023:Call at 10 AM on the day they said it would arrive, it has, person on the phone checks my prescription, all ok, said it was ready to collect .Arrive in store at 3pm and somehow problems again - apparently my script is "incorrect"as it is a controlled drug, despite having been the exsact same wording for 3 years. I utter "are you joking" in frustration - pharmacy clerk accuses me of habing "unacceptable attitude" for that, leaves until pharmacist came back to explain the same thing (that they cant fulfill a prescription they were okay with the last two times they saw it) and got told "you can take it to another pharmacy and see if they will" when they well know there is a shortage.You'd think they would have spotted this the first time when they ordered the medication rather than at the very end, ignoring how this is the first time this issue has been brought up for this script in 3 years.

Abysmal customer service. Rude staff (except for the most junior staff who was very friendly, eager to learn and apologised for the inconvenience), ridiculous waiting times and inadequate training. The photo printer I was using ran out of paper halfway through the job. It ended up requiring four staff members - two "from upstairs", I guess store management - to comprehend the error message (that detailed exactly what needed to be done) and refill the paper. Not even once during my 35 minute wait did I hear an apology. They didn't even say "bye", just walked away. Maybe they were all just horribly overworked after a nightmarish onslaught of customers over the "Black Friday" weekend. The fault lies probably with people even higher up at Boots who are responsible for understaffing issues and poor training. Or with customers who expect top service, but don't want to pay an appropriate price. I don?t know. I got my pictures in the end, but I can?t give this service a positive rating in good conscience.

Went for a banal cold sore.The guy made me wait to call the pharmacist, after waiting he went at the back and says: I spoke to them, you have to go to GP.The pharmacist didn't even bother to come outside.

Need more staff, always a queue for prescriptions and over the counter items ?but have a good points system ?update still need more staff ? also it's very warm by time you leave ur? then freeze when you walk outside still a good shop though ?

Absolute horrible experience! The staff here is always angry, frustrated, bored and irritated. It?s impossible to get any kind of help from staff and if you manage to find one you get very generic answers and a big sigh! Not a single person will help you or give a damm about your existence in the store. Extremely frustrating, unfriendly staff.

The central Oxford branch has a good audiology department offering free hearing tests and advice, that provides a selection of hearing aids and excellent back up service.

Hats off to Hihn who came to my partner?s rescue this morning. My partner purchased an expensive pair of hearing aids from Boots, Reading and a small part had dropped off (design issue). Hihn replaced without hesitation and gave my partner free hearing aids by way of excellent customer service. Bravo Boots!

Ordered a collection but the ground floor staffs said it?s not their duty for the tills and ask me to try upstairs. And no staffs were upstairs! Wasted 10 mins looking for someone to serve me with the click and collect order! Walked out at the end without my order!

After the absolute soul destroying experience of the pharmacy in Boots at Headington (see my one star review), what an absolute pleasure it was to experience brilliant customer service from the Boots pharmacy in the Cornmarket Street branch. No queue, courteous friendly staff and a prescription fulfilled within 10 minutes. Brilliant.

went there on 4/10, round 5.30pm. shop looked like it's been robbed. Random products on random shelves. Only 1 out of 5 self-check outs was working and no one on any of 3 tills. 30 ppl in the queue. And feel truly sorry for the staff that must listen to the squeaky escalator all day. Left my basket and departed the store.
