“It's not one of the biggest stores so very popular items can be occasionally sold out, hair dyes, wipes, but they can have great offers. I have a store card which I use to accumulate points and use it for gifts at Christmas. The staff are lovely and friendly although they seem to change quite often. Best items to shop for here are makeup, vitamins and health items, quite competitive as there is a Boots store and Body care shop in the same area which are all near the market.”

“Tried most of the pharmacies in Chorley. Tesco's is by far the best friendly helpful staff. I use a repeat prescription service at my GP's which is sent to Tesco pharmacy and the items are ready for collection in less than 24 hours 10/10 fantastic service”

“Regularly give incorrect levels of medication i.e. issues 100 & not 120 as per the script on one occasion script stated 200 tablets pharmacy issued 100 then blamed my Wife for the mistake stating she was a stroke victim & therefore there was a question about her mental state to cover their incompetence staff spend too much time in CHIT-CHAT & therefore make errors with drugs.”

On 22/5/23 I was looking for some antihistamine eye drops, I must have looked a bit lost as a very nice store assistant called Tanya came up and asked if she could help, with a bright and genuine smile on her face. The eye drops weren't on the shelf so she directed me to the store pharmacy. I went to continue my shopping first, and she actually hunted down the very thing I needed from the pharmacy and brought it to me without me even asking. What a lovely gesture on a very hot day when I was suffering badly with hay fever! Staff are always friendly and helpful at this store, really nice thing to see these days.”

“Pretty good experience with Roland's, as they offer a good range of service in the 10 years we used them.The offer a delivery service which we never used but that would be great for someone who is housebound.Seamless prescription service with Granville House medical centre.Has been taken over recently hence 4 star rating”

“Always busy but they are always working hard as far as i can see. Best to go in the daytime midweek or later on (open till 10pm) if you want to avoid a queue. I have been using them for ages and never had any issues.”
