“We booked through secret escapes and got a good deal with Spa use, wine on arrival, and breakfast included. We got there a little early and tried to get a drink while we waited but despite quests sat in he bar the bartender/drinks menus were nowhere to be found so instead we just sat and waited. Check in was easy and the staff seemed very friendly. The room was lovely, with robes, a coffee machine, and a very comfy bed. We went to use the spa and got a brief explanation by the front desk staff. She was nice enough, but didn't let us know that the drinks in the lounge area were complimentary which would've been nice to know beforehand. Some more loungers/seats would help too. We went out in the evening so can't comment on the rest. Breakfast in the morning was good, with great choice. My partner just wanted beans/eggs on toast but this wasn't on the menu so chose no main meal. We then saw other tables getting exactly that but poor Sally (who was fantastic) was the only server and we didn't want to bother her so settles with just the toast and pastries. All in all, the hotel was nice, the spa could've been better, and more servers at breakfast would improve the service so Sally doesn't have to do it all.”

“Lovely clean hotel. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices for continental and tasty cooked breakfast although the scrambled eggs weren't to our liking as they had herbs in but everything else was lovely. Friendly helpful staff especially Jason who was very professional caring and compassionate when we had an unexpected medical problem. Thank you we will definitely stay again when visiting relatives in the area”

“Exceptional value at £40 for a one night stay and we could have had a whole family in the room. The night we stayed was very hot but a fan was provided. Needed extra teas/milk which we were able to help ourselves to.”

“The location is great, just off the motorway, however, unless you have a car, it’s not very easy to get to a supermarket or take aways. There is for convenience, a subway and costa literally outside the hotel if you want food or coffee. There was ample parking, immediately facing the hotel, there were also disabled parking spots. To the side of the building there’s additional few spaces and an overflow over the road from the hotel. The reception was attentive and really helpful, I asked for more milk pots and booked breakfast upon check-in.The room was clean, slightly smaller than other Travelodge hotels I’ve stayed at but more than enough or single occupancy. The shower was fully working and no issues in bathroom facilities. Comfortable bed and heater for the colder nights. The hotel is surrounding by busy roads so if you do open the window there is a lot of traffic noise. There was also some noise from the other guests, again, only minimal with children. Also on EE, the signal is very bad! The WiFi in the hotel is chargeable and was fine, ok speed, but just be weary that connectivity wasn’t very good. The breakfast was OK. I wouldn’t say outstanding. There was no orange juice left. There was a tea/coffee machine, apple juice and a section with cereals, pancake and fruits. The basic breakfast offering was scrambled eggs, meat sausages etc, but was glad to see they had veg sausages too which I could consume. It’s a great hotel for those visiting Bristol or surrounding area for business.”
