I went into the bank to arrange a meeting to troubleshoot some issues with an account as well as set up another account. I was told they were fully booked for the next month. It was abundantly clear that they had no interest in having a meeting and were desperate to direct me to an online chat bot. I insisted and was offered a slot for a months time. On the day of the meeting I was called by AJ. AJ was calling in order to see if he could cancel the meeting. I informed him that I needed to come into the branch, which AJ agreed did need to be the case. Instead of sticking to the originally agreed time he asked if I could amend my meeting to an earlier time - this was fine albeit inconsiderate. I attended at the newly agreed time to be greeted by the news that AJ had another meeting at 11am. Frankly, to cancel a meeting last minute into a double booked slot is at best incompetence and at worst rude.I was helped by Mitul who provided great customer service in the interim with one of my issues.Unfortunately, they were unable to assist with my other reason for attending which their colleague was supposed to assist with. As such I left, without being assisted by the branch. A total waste of time arranging for the meeting and a very unsatisfactory experience. I will happily be finding another bank which values the time of its customers rather than one which specialises in trying to avoid them. Thanks Mitul, but no thank you to everyone else.

When banks decide to close in the middle of the afternoon, the least they should do is ensure their external cash machines are fully functional. Come on guys, this is happening again and again, your customers deserve better!

Linda on front desk was brilliant. New phone so my online details hadn't transferred. She helped me get back onto online banking which was not a quick and easy job! Linda persevered and I'm back online. Thanks so much for your help Linda.

Santander offers so many different type of accounts and savings it?s a really good bank. I even recommended to my friends and children. Friendly staff and always helpful.

Hopeless , hopeless, hopeless.....devoid of any real care or service. Apparently you cannot make an appointment to see a business account advisor while inside the branch. No, best you go home and try and navigate the disastrous website where you'll find even less assistance.

Awful service. I went into this branch and was able to check my account balances and addresses and all sorts of private information without anyone asking me for any ID or any security questions. I have closed my account and moved to Barclays.

This place same as any other but hate it when you want your own money but have to give a reason , then they ask more questions,bit like mini interrogation. Apparently it's for our protection, then they have to go away to see if the transaction can be done!! What this is my money! By this time most people in queue know your business. I told them, if it's for my protection why let everyone know I am walking out with lots of cash? No answer to question,.Absolutely dreadful.

Totally useless. This one is closed as well as Brighton which tells you to come to hove. Phoning does not get a person and letter asks I go into branch.Really fed up. Some dozen people turning up last few mins to find branch shut.Really frustrated. Santander, where is your customer service. Online says branches open till 4.30pm.

I found this bank to be totally unfair and unbelievable conduct i had money payed into my account on tuesday afternoon by my solicitor and wednesday went to the bank to tranfer to a selller which im buying a new home took passport and details of seller to branch was told it was done after alot problems got a reciept and left bank then hour later put a stop on it went back to branch and spent 3 hours being pushed to one department to another even witha solicitor letter telling them where the money came from my account is still locked i have been on the everyday since being left on the phone for 30 minutes to 50minutes every time it is now saturday at 12 15 i phone at 830am today still no answer and no account open its over 48 hours and ive been left with no money i can not exchange on my new home or pay vets bill or buy any food

Really impressed with this Santander, in London a lot of the branches are closed or the queues are so big you can't get into a bank.Was a joy to walk into this branch around 2pm yesterday with only two customers at the counters in front of me.The staff were really friendly and helpful, made conversation whilst sorting out the print out I needed. And everything was sorted within a few minutes.Covid wise there is sanitiser station at the entrance, social distancing markings on the floor and restricted numbers allowed inside.
