consistently poor service from the bank as a whole and also from the branch in particular. I am so pleased to say I have finally moved away. I never joined santander but was brought over from Alliance and Leicester which was far better. This is an awful bank and an unhelpful branch.

We were given an appointment wait time of 2 months to set up a kids account. (Ok not a problem) BUT We arrived at 10:05am for a 10 o clock appointment to be told that the advisor has now seen someone else even though we are the ones with the appointment. No phone call or text to ask if we are running late. Terrible service and I will actively start looking at other accounts elsewhere to move all our family?s interests. No wonder these banks are now all going online Santander needs to move with the times and catch up with the real world. People can arrive late when travelling with a baby and a toddler a bit of leeway would have been great.

You go to use the outside cash machines to deposit a weeks takings and both are broken on a Saturday afternoon. Ridiculous. I don?t want to use the post office or travel to Widnes or Saint Helen?s.

My father is disabled and cannot get to branch. He has just struggled to get to the post office only to have his card declined MAKING A DEPOSIT of £550. We shall be moving his savings. Disgusted.

Just because your staff cannot adequately explain why you can give a sort code over the phone but not in store because they don't have the right ID does not make the client argumentative. It means your staff are inadequately trained to answer appropriately asked questions.

Google states close time of 4:30pmHowever on arrival today they advised us they close at 2pm. Immediately i thought oh it must be like 2:30pm or something, but no, i check my phone and its bang on 2pm (no joke) and they close the door on us whilst letting there last client out. You would of thought they would of let us in based on the wrong close time on google and be reasonable but no, there staff were too interested in disappointing there clients and going home. I travelled 30 minutes for this also. 1 hour round trip for nothing and wasted fuel cost. Very upsetting.

First thing , the web page needs updating because I went today (Saturday) and was closedThis wouldn?t be a problem but I have to pay my mortgage in branch only not via phone/internet because my mortgage is that old and they can?t change it .... so now my mortgage will be late paid and I?ll get a charge for that .... mortgage deal ends in April , I cannot wait to leave Santander!!

I have overdraft..they know when I get paid. They take there fees..fair enough. Then that puts me over my over draft charging me another £50. Not RIGHT .
