Took my family here for a lunch time meal, Not Impressed, overcrowded & squeezed into a corner table for four, meal of hunters chicken, served to three people as a pensioners size, not asked for & when the meals did eventually turn up the chicken was tough & 8 chips, standard size steak & ale pie full of three pieces of...

Great food and service as usual would highly recommend. Fast and attentive service. Excellent value and freshly prepared. The giant custard cream cheesecake was amazing.

What a lovely pub! Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Staff checked back at just the right times and were on hand without being intrusive. A rare find these days! Wonderful atmosphere too. A very enjoyable and pleasant evening. We will definitely be back!
