“Amazing service 5 star service from Kieren at Richer Sounds, Reading. My existing 5 year old OLED TV previously purchased from the Reading branch developed burn-in. Although outside warranty, a goodwill gesture was credited to my account and Kieren matched an amazing price available via LG direct online. Very happy customers of a new LG G3.”

“Our experience at Whittard in Reading was excellent, the store manager was very approachable and helpful and Lauren impressed us with the knowledge she has about tea. She was also very friendly and open to answer all of our questions and offered us some delicious tea to try. We left very satisfied with our bags full, thanks to Lauren’s recommendations based on our preferences. We will definitely go again and would 100% recommend it to anyone interested in quality tea and a lovely experience!”

“This HomeSense isn’t very big but there’s always so many good things to find. Specially during Halloween/Christmas they have a very large range of products. The shop is always well organised and clean too.”

“It's hard not to like HMV but it's also hard to understand how it's still in existence. When I stepped in there it felt like being transported back to the 90s . Rows of CDs and Vinyl . T shirts of Bands and posters . It almost feels like a museum as for me it contains nothing I need but was interesting to look at . Asides from this it is a nice store with friendly staff .”

“I’ve been using Dave’s Drums for a couple of years now when I’ve bought Code heads to upgrade the drum heads already on the kit. Extremely helpful & knowledgeable & the items are posted quickly. Recommended seller! ?”

“Went in for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised at the range of music on offer! As someone that buys cassettes I do have to say that there weren't particularly many interesting ones when I visited, however the ones I did pick up were all 99p, which seems like good value. Good place to easily buy blank cassettes as well!”

“Ollie the assistant was really helpful and knowledgeable, helping us to find a wonderful mattress in addition to the bed we'd chosen from Dreams online. He was great at his job, encouraging us to take our time to think things through and helping us to understand our options without pushing us to buy anything.”

“Fantastic service from start to finish! I went in needing three different paints mixing but wasn’t 100% sure what I was doing. Jay (James) served me and was so helpful and really knowledgeable in advising me. I left with all three paints and have now used them at home and am very happy. Would highly recommend this shop. I wouldn’t normally leave a review but the experience was so good, I asked for jays name so I could write this about him as he deserves recognition!”

“Once again Steve comes to the rescue! Absolutely 1st class service all the way. As far as I'm concerned there is only one place to come for tiles and that's Reed Harris! Thank you for everything you've done to help me with my project.”

“I think it is very difficult to review or write about Ikea that is not already written.Reading Ikea is located in a more lively place as compared to a few others (Croydon. ) The layout could be a bit different, like the kitchen accessories are in the ground floor, while some of the stores have it in the first floor.Something I observed is that there restaurant didn't have much choices, and there were no desserts either. One could say it is because it was on a weekend, and towards the third quarter of the day... But then this is IKEA, isn't it?Bottomline is, you can buy anything that you require for your home, and more. Weekends are now crowded than the day... So plan your visit accordingly.”

“One of the most terrible customer experiences in my life - edited from 1 star to 5 stars since I received a letter of apology and a gift card for the amount I spent, that’s very thoughtful customer service”

“I dropped in on the off chance that they might have spare tiles from a discontinued Regal range, which I had purchased from the Oxford Road store the week before. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by Pauline. Although they didn’t have the tiles in stock, she swiftly and efficiently located matching tiles at the Slough store. Pauline ensured the batch and sizes were precise and even arranged to have them reserved for me. I will definitely return when we decide on the wall tiles we need.”

“Really helpful knowledgeable salesman in the shop quickly worked out what sort of bed I was looking for and gave me just enough options to chose from so I didn’t get overwhelmed with choice. Buying process was easy and flexible. I was given a delivery date that they stuck to. Delivery was kind, smiley, chatty, helpful, courteous. Great job team!”

“Five stars for customer service for Darren W at Reading, every time I shop in store he goes out of his way and always asks if he can help, he is friendly, efficient and is knowledgeable regarding all products and where to locate them. He is extremely helpful towards his colleagues if someone else is struggling to help. If I can't find what I am looking for, he says just look for me and I'll help you. So a big thank you to Darren from me.”

“It’s located right next to IKEA, which is very handy! They have a good selection of products. I would recommend to look at the guide of where everything is - it’s a big store, and can often feel like a maze sometimes, and it can take quite a while to find what you’re looking for. There is an upper floor, with a lift and stairs connecting them. You can also do click and collect, and you can see if items are in stock here online. There are trolleys available.”

“Joyce was extremely helpful in getting me setup with a trade point account. She was patient and very sweet. The drill set I wanted wasn’t on the shelf, probably as it’s on a good deal so she let me buy the display set which was extremely helpful! Everyone I spoke to in store gave great customer service and advice. All round pleasant shopping trip ??”

“Manbir spent a lot of time with us and was keen to ensure we were happy with our kitchen. We are delighted with the end result. There were one or two minor hiccups as there always is on a large project and it took a little longer than expected but the end result was well worth it and communication was good thoughout.Service: Remodeling”

“We had a partial bathroom refurbishment and are very happy with the service provided and the result. Gary (the owner) provided a design plan at the beginning and a list of product info attached to the quote, which was very helpful to make a decision; he agreed to do a partial bathroom revamp to meet our budget needs. We had a brand new bath, digital shower and waterproof panels installed, and are very happy with the quality and excellent finish.Gary and his team did a great job from start to finish, and we cannot wait to have the rest of the bathroom revamped in the near future!”

“Nicely Presented Oxfam charity shop, selling preowned women's, children's and men's clothes and shoes, books, children's toys, gifts, house hold items ,DVDs, CDs and vinyl. (And at the right time of year Christmas cards and gifts). The shop is quite busy so the stock changes daily. If you have a large quantity of donations you can park in the co-op car park and ring the back door bell. (If you are not registered for gift aid you should consider doing so as they get 25% extra on your donations from HMRC. You can pop into the shop to register anytime, or do it on the day.)”

“Lovely and friendly staff at this branch who always assist customers. It's great to interact with people who care about their work, and it really makes a difference in our lives - it's not 'just' stationary. I would rather spend money here than anywhere online and I really hope the shop stays open. Thank you *Everyone* who works at Ryman Reading.”

“Ordered some bathroom materials from here. Great new show rooms, and Matt could not have been more helpful with a less usual request of Vat exemption for a disabled customer, and was also able to help on price, which was also appreciated.”
