Staff had no time for me with a warranty issue. Too busy to show an interest. Whist I was there they were demanding a little old lady not to leave. Disgusting behaviour towards the elderly. avoid this shop

I went into EE today to make some changes to my account, as I have four accounts with them. However, I must say that after my contracts are finished, I will not be returning to EE. The person at the store was very disrespectful and spoke down to me as if I were a child, which I did not appreciate. So, in the kindest possible way, I want to express my frustration. Well done, EE, for losing a long-term customer. Please convey my thanks to the individual at your Reading store.

Staff are disinterested. Quickly to tell you that your phone is out of warranty over the tiniest of marks of which Samsung themself have seen and sent me here.The whole EE experience is awful. Originally booked in with Crawley, but when I arrived after an hour's trip, they proceeded to tell me that " They were just talking about me because the repairers haven't come in to work" and told me to book in at a different shop in case they didn't come in the next day (at least a little thoughtful with it.) So booked in with EE Reading and was greeted by a cold staff member who seemed disinterested and then instantly told me my warranty was invalid because of a little paint chip on the corner of the phone (when the claim is for the ZFold3 inner screen as a pixel has gone and then the middle line has gone black) But he said he needs to speak with the technician (So it's not even 'qualified' to make this decision) where he has clearly gone up there and insisted this not covered. When he came back down, he refused to listen or even talk about it and was being incredibly awkward, So I asked to speak to the technician, to which he replied "He isn't customer trained" This is a cop-out excuse because neither was he in the slightest. I would suspect it's because it was New Year's Eve and they didn't want the hard work.The whole experience was terrible and the staff were all well below the standards you would expect.I then tried to raise a complaint with EE online, and they have now told me they can't process a complaint unless I have an account with EE (Which I do but they can't find it, even though I sent a screenshot of it). Honestly just laughable. Genuinely do not recommend going to the Reading store at all.

Despite the modern and trendy appearance with plenty of seating, this EE store is subpar when it comes to customer service.What should have been a simple replacement of a screen protector became a marathon of being driven across Surrey and Berkshire stores by the EE customer service team and when finally at the Reading store being told that they didn't care about the issues I had with their service team. The best was that the store manager told me that its EE I should complain to and that she is just working at the store.They pride themselves on a 2 hour repair when you walk in to the store. They didn't deliver on that either.If you want to be a premium service provider and maintain flagship stores you need to employ enough people to deliver the service you promise.Even when I only wanted to pick up my phone it took them 45 minutes to just get me the phone from a drawer.Very bad service

EE is a horrible company to deal with. Rude, abrupt, unpleasant staff. What a contrast to Three who couldn't be more helpful and attentive. I was only too happy to make the switch.

No stars to give. Horrible service first time I tried them out. I went on Saturday 16th December 2023 to hand in my phone which had Bluetooth issues. The staff were very unprofessional and quite frankly unreasonable. I was asked to pay over 5 hundred pounds to fix my phone to return it to be covered by warranty. I've been with EE for over a decade and for the absolute first time I go in for a repair they turn me down flat. The staff/engineer was not even interested in addressing the problem I went in for. I didn't understand why the assistant manager was brought into the situation and at this point I was so upset. Very amateur and I wouldn't recommend. I can only speculate they could see I was at the end of my contract and org policies encourage their staff to push for upgrades rather than customer satisfaction

Went to get my google pixel 6a charging port repaired.Met by a very strong minded lady who put me in my place, told me my rights (still under warranty) annoyingly had to factory reset my phone but I understand why they'd need that. (10/10)Had to wait about a hour to get it back, get needed a simple clean and free as under warranty which I wasn't expecting as I bought it elsewhere!Lastly, the lad who gave me my phone back was somehow absolutely enthralled with his work, seemed to be having the best life but I won't question it :)Thankyou reading team for your help!

Wouldn't sell me a phone. I went in with my unrepairable Pixel 7 pro which is mid contract. I knew my only option was to buy a new phone outright, as I wasn't insured. It took them a while to also come to this conclusion. Then they said they couldn't sell me the new Pixel 8 Pro ?! They said go next doors to john Lewis . Which I did.... I guess they didn't want my £1K

Booked in to get a screen cover changed on a fold 4.Got told to delete the data as the people upstairs could be bad how would ee know! I said maybe background check your staff he said not my problem i want to go home at the end of the day and not worry about my job!Sales person was so off and hostile didnt really want to help us.We challenged the process as he claimed the upstairs system doesnt talk to the shop floor so even though we had booked a tech appointment you see him and he just puts it in a queue. A queue he claims he doesnt know the length of or how much it can cost you till they look.The phone rang he ignored it said its rude to answer if your with someone yet will happily walk away and speak to customers coming in through the doors.Also spouted rubbish about motherboard damage!! Mate we are replacing a screen cover.Samsung need to stop sending there customers here its deplorable.

Stopped in to ask a question concerning BT equipment. This store is linked with BT but doesn't have any BT equipment or access to BT materials. The assistant was as helpful as he could be with my question and request but was unable to provide a constructive answer to my question other than to visit the BT website or to go to Currys.
