Quite a wait to be seated and appeared under staffed. However the waiting staff were friendly.You can't go to a Beefeater with returning to the 80s. The prawn cocktail was lovely as usual.My sirloin staff was 20% gristle. Making it difficult to eat and unpleasant. The chips were very odd. Hot but undercooked maybe? I was tempted to send the back but the lack of staff made it tricky.Breakfast was equally disappointing. I'm not sure what the orange liquid served was, but it tasted a bit like diluted Umbongo. Very unpleasant.I must stop going to the Beefeater when staying at Premier Inn.

Well what can I say??, after booking a table for 14. The service and food was fantastic, especially when we didn?t preorder . Most had steaks, mixed grills etc they were all cooked to perfection!Charlotte our waitress was very accommodating but not over powering! Polite and handle our large table with ease! So thank you to you Charlotte. Lee was also very kind and all made our visit a very pleasant one!

Grumpy staff, food was good but preferred the "help your self" way to the new " order off the menu as it was a lot more wasted food and a 40 minutes wait for the hot

What a lovely visit, food was great but the service was even better! Jackie was so accommodating with our requests and was so polite with all interactions.

Service is quite slow, gave up waiting for my pudding one night. The breakfast staff seem happier to chat amongst themselves rather than seat customers or take their orders.Food is tasty enough, nothing is proper hot and plates are sometimes warm or cold. Disappointed is my one word review.

The food took forever to come out. We went to the bar asked 2 times for a fill up but got ignored before they actually answered us. I am only giving it a 2 because there was one lady who was very nice and joked with us etc. When the food came out the burger tasted raw looked raw. The bathrooms also smell really bad like they haven?t been cleaned? I might be wrong but still in the women?s bathrooms. there is no lid onto he sanitary bin. There was also missing food.Kid-friendliness: There was one lady who was very nice. She was so kinda snd good when talking to the kids and was the only one who came and took our order and served us.

We?ve just been for Mothers Day. It was heaving. Ridiculously busy. Staff were fantastic but way under staffed for the amount of people that were there. Why the hot food counter and long table of food wasn?t on the long wall closest to the kitchen to make it easier and more efficient for the staff god only knows.

Terrific meal here. It?s located just off the M4 so is very convenient and so much better than the services. I was expecting a very mediocre meal - better than the services, but that?s all. I actually got a very well cooked steak with good veg and chips, my wife?s fish and chips were also excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive - even though we had a bunch of vouchers! Exceeded expectations.

Loved it here we had a great evening. Waitress was amazing, polite, friendly, even took photos for us.Visited the beefeater again 27th 02 2024. Food was excellent. Pudding was delicious changed ice cream to custard no problem. Charlotte was a fabulous, friendly server thank you for a lovely evening. ?

Me and my fiance were here for a meal out on the 31st December.We were both amazed by the service given from the waiters/waitresses as well as the quality of the food.We ordered from the Christmas menu - the food was absolutely delicious and very tasty.I got 2 Hot Chocolates, the Roast Turkey dinner, and a Chocolate Orange Sundae for dessert. Firstly, the Hot chocolates were lovely , warm and very tasty and the cups were a decent size too. Secondly the Roast Turkey dinner, was delicious, mouth-watering and filling. Lastly, the Chocolate Orange Sundae was mouth-watering and delicious too ... it tasted like the orange match-makers you get, so it was interesting to try it as a sundae ... and I would definitely recommend this to everyone.My fiance got the Chicken Liver & Brandy Pate for starters, the festive double-crunch chicken burger, followed by a chocolate orange sundae for dessert as well. My fiance fully enjoyed his meals and would highly recommend each item to everyone.Safe to say, that me and my fiance will be returning here (when we are next in the area).

We had an issue with the grupon voucher the waitress took the wrong amount of our card and didn?t use the voucher it was presented at the time of payment. I called the next day and explained and was told to return the next day 30 Mille round trip . On arrival we were told no one on site was able to perform a refund sat around for 60 minutes until a grown up arrived . Rude staff just ignored us . What a joke

Staff trying to do their absolute best in a sinking ship on a quiet Saturday night. Food was burnt to a crisp with items missing only to be told "that's how it comes" and staff and manager reluctant to try the own food they serve. Lack of management to ensure basic hospitality standards are met. I would have expected better for £30/head.
