Good food and service, but the website talks about a dress code of 'smart casual' which was not enforced at all. So much gym wear thought I'd got lost, really impacted the tone of the place and the night sadly.

The atmosphere was nice, relaxing and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the smells from the kitchen had our rumbling. The service was quick, friendly and not overbearing. The food was hot, flavourful and wanting to come back soon.Parking: Free parking just need to register you car at the kitchen kiosk inside

The restaurant was nicely laid out. The prawn cocktail we had was not freshly made and had clearly just been sitting in a fridge. Too cold and tasteless. We ordered fillet steaks and both were grisly and hard to cut - they had to be replaced. All in all disappointing for a restaurant that trades on delivering good steak. Unlikely to go again unfortunately.

ordered a well done steak with chunky chips, waiting over half an hour to be told basically it was my fault for ordering well done, wouldn't mind however steak was still pink inside, sent back only to be returned exactly the same and chips where what could only be described as scraps.waiter was nice enough.at the end of the evening we had to go and track down my coat that was taken from me at the start of the night.guess bringing my coat was unimportant, since I never ate their food.

We had outstanding service from Bikash our waiter. We enjoyed two courses from the Festive menu. The chef was Dan - The vegan cauliflower main was crispy & delicious, those who had steak enjoyed it thoroughly, the vegan wellington was outstanding. Puddings were lovely with the exception of the cheesecakes which were a little less typical.Vegetarian options: Has vegan starters, mains and puddings - some of which are also gluten free.

From entering the restaurant we were made to feel welcome. Professional polite staff greeted and seated us. We were served quickly and were not rushed throughout our meal. Any requests were met without question. Most importantly the food was outstanding. The portion size was just right. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant ensured that although there were two work xmas parties taking place my husband and I could still enjoy our anniversary dinner quietly and relax. I loved the kitchen area being in view so that I could see the meals being prepared. The restaurant was one of the cleanest and well maintained that I have seen in a long time. The prices were reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. We would recommend friends and family to visit. Registering our car at reception is a good idea as it monitors not only who parks on site but ensures that staff appreciate our safety while visiting.Parking: onsite parking with registration monitoring system

We visited last night for my birthday, and yet again had a lovely meal. Aga our waitress was wonderful - she is so lovely, had some great recommendations for us, and really looked after us. The food was exceptional as always - would highly recommend.

When we arrived, a waitress asked us to get a drink at the bar whilst she checked to see if our table was ready (she never came back). Once seated we had excellent service. Therese was an amazing waitress.Parking: Loads of space, just have to input the number on a machine in the restaurant

We took advantage of M&C festive two course dinner for my birthday. It didn't disappoint, even though, we felt it was smaller portions than last year, but still tasted good. Christmas pud was 'lush'. Our server 'Duncan' made it a very special evening, as was very attentive, funny and an all round 5 star service. Thank you Duncan, for making the evening.

4 of us came for lunch today at 1 - the atmosphere was good, the food was excellent but the best part of our visit was being served by Abigail! She was so happy serving us and nothing was too much trouble. She smiled all the time and made our visit perfect - thank you Abigail!

Me and my colleagues we had Christmas lunch in this lovely steak restaurant. My steak was cooked to perfection. It was delicious, full of flavour and very tender? just perfect. Atmosphere was good and staff was kind and helpful? I would definitely recommend Miller and Carter to any steak lovers.

We ate from the Christmas menu tonight. Great choice and value for money. The festive burger was amazing!! The place was busy but the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Aga really looked after us and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal this evening with my colleagues, the food was absolutely fantastic, from start to finish! Food and drinks were prompt and of high quality, nothing was too big an ask for the friendly and helpful waiting staff who dealt with our requests and dietary needs with ease. Great atmosphere and energy all evening and can?t wait to go again!

It was amazing. The food was delicious and the portion huge! We have really high standards and they were met. Our waitdess Lucy was so proffesional a d took great care of us. The atmosphere was lively but in such a positive way. 100% will be coming back very soon to try other tasty things on the menu.

I was taken here as a treat by my daughter and her partner and oh boy what a treat it was. All of us had the best steak dinners we had ever had. Absolutely delicious. Starters and desserts the same. The service all round was fantastic. It was quick, super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They even prepared a special plate for my Grandson who was about to start Secondary School wishing him Good Luck piped out on the plate. Went far beyond our expectations. A huge well done and Thank You to you all. We will definitely be returning .....hopefully very soon!!
