If you want to be treated as a slave without respect, dignity and care needed choose this so called GP Surgery.I can't believe in 21st centuary England something like this is alowed to exist. No REAL DOCTORS there! To see a "doctor" there is a nightmare process. To get your regular prescriptions is even worse, almost impossible. Stuff answering your calls are arogant, authoritarian, rude and untrained.I needed 2nd part carers like Aviva and Intensive Care Team to call them in order to get my regular meds.They don't care about us.They forgot Hippocratic Oath:?I will use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgement; I will abstain from harming or wronging any man by it."All in all - avoid at all cost!!!SHAME ON YOU ELDENE SURGERY!!!

If possible, I?d give 0 stars as that is what the service is worth. Never have I ever felt so strongly about the service of receptionists that I?ve had to write a negative review but here I am. I?m unsure if the management read these reviews or not (doesn?t seem likely as many other patients have been complaining long before me) but the staff that were on reception at 9:30 am on Monday the 5th of February need discipline. As a receptionist, if you can?t communicate with patients politely I don?t understand why you?re doing the job? Surely if you can?t help but insult and patronise people you?d be better suited to a role that isn?t customer facing?I?ll be following this up and visiting Eldene Surgery to find the supervisors who think this poor patient service is acceptable. I?m not letting this go.

Edit: Eight Years on and we still cannot get an urgent appointment after 3 days of calling, had to go to the hospital A&E who admitted my wife in 30 min with Pneumonia, this Surgery is failing to serve the community. Original; Building is lovely and clean, as a Doctors Surgery awful. I am not one for going to the Doctor for every scrape or sniffel, if i fell sick enough to feel the need to see a Doctor it is because I feel like death not because I have an irritating pain that does not need to waste NHS resources. You have to tell a receptionist what is wrong with you before you get the opportunity to see a qualified medical professional, and even then there is no garentee that this Surgery will see you. If it is an "emergancy" you get sent to Old Town Surgery, even though there are 4 other Surgerys that are closer to Liden that you could be sent to. I have recently been going to the Walk-in centre in the Hospital as I can actually walk that distance when I am i'll. But, recently taking my daughter there again for cystitis because my Local GP won't see her for three weeks (yes that is right, THREE WEEKS), the walkin center has not told me that they will not see here there again as she has had to use the walkin center too much! Twice in two months because the GP could'nt see her!

Had to register to another practice, this place was almost unusable. You could NEVER get an appointment. Phone system absolute shambles. Local Pharmacy rarely had stock when you finally got an appointment. utter nightmare. And you are paying for this!

Ridiculous service. Always having problems with this surgery. Request for information takes a long time, can never get an appointment and they are not customer friendly at all. Looks like a complaint to CQC

Not been at this surgery very long and I?m yetTo have a good experience , this is the worst GP surgery I have ever experienced. There is only one receptionist that is polite and willing to help all the others need to have a week of and learn how to smile and brush up in their customer service skills, secondly why advertise that your surgery opens at 8:30 pm yet at 8:40 your lines still state that you are closed, then when you finally decide to open your lines it?s impossible to even get through to a queue just keep getting user busy? shocking and would not recommend changing my GP as soon as I can

Brilliant surgery. I ran out of my pills this morning. I phoned the surgery the young receptionist answered, and as quick as a flash sorted my problem outI have my pills now. A big thank you to a superb team. Fantastic surgeryThanks everyone for all your help yet again.Bill
