A great country pub in a picturesque Wiltshire village. The staff were incredibly welcoming and nothing was of much trouble for them. We chose the Sunday roast beef carvery. Great choice. The meal was superb. As much as we could eat, and home cooked through and through. We should add that we were visiting with our dog. He was also made very welcome and certainly ?looked after? by the staff! I will say no more. All in all, a great experience? probably the best dog friendly pub we?ve ever visited? and we?ve visited a fair few! We?ll definitely be back.Parking: Large easy accessible car park.

We had a fabulous family Sunday lunch here. It's such a lovely welcoming pub, the staff are so friendly. The carvery was really good with a great selection of fresh vegetables. We all enjoyed it very

The team here are very friendly. They have great banter and remember their regular customers' names and drinks preferences. Food is a tad pricey, but worth the money. There's always a lovely atmosphere, especially for carvery or Rock 'n' Roll bingo.Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian and they have a carvery option with superb cauliflower cheese. They have several delicious vegetarian starters, plus a vegetarian burger, vegetable lasagne, chilli and curry.Wheelchair accessibility: Not ideal with a step by the front door, but the team are always happy to open the side door, plus there's a decent disabled toilet.

Come here if you like watching paint dry and enjoy being watched by the chef while you eat your food, also if you like to get a couple of cheeky cat hairs stuck in your teeth, this place is the one for you ???

Seriously, this place has less atmosphere than a church and pretty average food. I can not for the life me understand how anyone could even recommend it and a 20% service charge, for what?

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a Sunday roast at the Winterbourne Arms today. The beef was cooked perfectly, great selection of veges and the best cauliflower cheese ??. What made my meal most enjoyable was the warm welcome by Sarah and Mel and the girls. As a solo traveller I am not always warmly welcomed as seen to be taking up a table meant for more people, but today I felt like I was invited into their own home for a meal with genuine friendly conversation. I also observed the warmth and kindness the ladies showed towards more mature age guests in carrying plates to the table, assisting with gravy pouring etc and all handled so discretely as if the patron was a guest at their own home. I highly recommend for not only the food but the warm atmosphere created. well done team.

I went there to park my car and with the plan to go the pub after it. We were more than 10 people using the pub after.A guy dressed as a chef came out and in a very rude way told me that it was private property and needed to move my car away.I wouldn't like to go back there.
