My visit was disappointing. The store feels tired and the layout is a mess.I really only popped in for a sandwich but could resist a walk around. It was all a bit grubby and cluttered. The flooring is tired and tatty. Doors left open to backrooms looked to be in chaos with cages and equipment. The strange underground walk to the carpark was like a public toilet with pumpkins. Surely a thief's paradise.Back to my sandwich... The poor selection was made to look worse by the broken fridge light which made it difficult to see. The £5 meal deal was fine except the store had not filled the savouries in the baskets which meant the deal didn't work. The hot ready to eat section was broken.All a bit of a disaster.

Hardly any fish and strange absence of soft fruit and various other items. Presumably logistics problems but no satisfactory explanation offered so overall this visit to Waitrose was disappointing

Rather unhappy today a partner in the Marlborough store who usually works on the Bakery section short older lady wouldn't give me my free coffee . She said I told her too late and did the same to a friend who was directly behind me in the queue with me.No apologies ! Basically it was tough as far she was concerned!!! That is the second time in recent months I have been unhappy with members of staff and their attitudes in this store.Seems the customers are nothing but a nuisance.Not what I expect from Waitrose!

Nice and tidy , some staff nice, some not so approachable. Lifts down to the exit and car park. If only people who dropped off and collected used the small pull in, people just drop then sit and wait for 30. Mins plus one time. Staff should be able to askthem to move on.

Nice well stocked shop, plenty of parking at the rear of the building.lots of lovely coffee shops nearby if required.

Seems Waitrose have given up on providing toilets altogether in Marlborough, maybe in response to their shocking reviews. That's up to them I guess but as someone who isn't local and therefore not aware of the situation what I find unacceptable is that they haven't changed any of the signage in store advertising the facility and directing customers downstairs. When you get there there's no explanation just furniture blocking the doors, as if the toilets have been closed as an emergency measure which is a bit shabby and reminiscent of what you'd expect to find in a multi storey carpark! And having now read the reviews I see the issue's been ongoing for over a year. If they can't manage the toilets then surely the solution is to lock them, remove the signage and replace it with an apology stating toilets are no longer available in this store.

I have been shopping at Waitrose for many years and have always been impressed by how lovely and helpful the staff are until I visited this store around 10 days after a C-section I had to give birth to my son. At the time, I was living in a village near Marlborough and this was my local store. I was absolutely shattered and still in a lot of pain as I slowly completed my shop, which included a stop at customer services to pick up a John Lewis online order. A female member of staff, who had a strong antipodean accent and who was chatting to an acquaintance at this time, asked me for ID in order to hand over the package. I produced my passport. She then then looked at my passport picture and said ?woooow that was taken a long time ago?. I found these comments unbelievably cruel, not to mention unprofessional and rude. I didn?t go back to that store again.

I would like to thank Jack from the Checkouts yesterday whom assisted with a horrible accident that happened yesterday afternoon Friday 15:30.He came out with his first aid bag had more empathy than the services attending and even gave us gloves ?xx
