“Fantastic place lovely outside area. We went on a Saturday afternoon and they had a young man singing and playing a guitar on a stage. Very enjoyable experience. A visit is required.”

“A charming hotel option in Marlborough. We stayed for a couple of nights at Bank holiday. We were rather taken with the experience. It was lovely. It is an old building. If you don't do old buildings, maybe this isn't for you. There are rooms in a second building next door, so do your research. The place is very Marlborough. It is an old town. If you want new, new, new, pop down to the Premier Inn. The room was at the back and up in the eaves. A very pleasant room. They had taken trouble with the decoration. This place was great value and thoroughly enjoyable. I wasn't sure when I read about breakfast in your room, but it turned out to be lovely. Just different. As the website said, there isn't parking. Rather than inflicting my car on residents of the town, I put it 5 minutes walk up the hill. Easy. You are 30 seconds walk from Marlborough High Street. We loved it. I've been coming through Marlborough for years and it was a total pleasure to finally stay in the place and explore the town. It is lovely. The Kingsbury @ No.8 is the right hotel to stay in for a visit to this lovely old town. We're fans.”

“I can't rate the staff at The castle and Ball highly enough.After being badly let down by another local restaurant they fitted us in very last minute for dinner, for 11 people for my 50th Birthday celebration meal.The staff were fabulous, polite and friendly, super attentive and so helpful.So much choice on the menu, it was hard to choose. The food arrived really quickly, especially as there were lots of us, and it was all beautifully cooked and tasted amazing!Very well priced, and such a great atmosphere about the place.You made my evening very special and everybody really enjoyed it!Thank youWe will be back!!”
