Have been here a few times with my mother as it’s local to herAlways great food n serviceReasonable access for her being old..Before we sat down, we were told one waitress was off for a school exam, so there May be an extra wait.. Appreciated the honesty and had an extra drink!!!

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Roast was one of the best I've had. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating for a large party of us and service was very quick. Dog friendly too!

Had a lovely Saturday lunch, the fish and chips were cooked beautifully and the atmosphere in the pub was very friendly. The slow walk around the village made a great after dinner stroll. Will be back.

Traditional Wiltshire pub offering casual dining, cask ales and great company.
All our food is homemade on sight, we offer a great range of traditional pub food including our homemade king prawn scampi and local rhubarb and apple crumble. We also serve as.more elegant dishes including our duck breast with mulled cabbage and local chalk stream trout.
Chefs personal favourites include the scallop gratin starter, lamb rump with miso roast aubergine and our delicious homemade treacle tart with fudge to finish.
We also offer a range of lighter lunchtime meals including homemade quiche and pastries, scones and afternoon teas.
Drinkwise we pride ourselves on supplying a great local veritey of cask ales complimented by our own lager and gin!
