Popped in today with a wobbly arm on my glasses. Lovely lady at the desk fixed them for me even though I hadn?t purchased them through Specsavers. I?d been struggling to fix them myself and was worrying about the cost of a new pair. She repaired them in about two minutes. I have my eye tests done at the branch (have previously purchased glasses too) and I?ve always had a great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, i had a corneal abrasion which had me worried as i didn't know what was wrong with my eye and they diagnosed it and recommended treatment. The staff are lovely, made me feel at ease and did everything they could to make me comfortable. Highly recommended! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Don't bother with this company they let you down at last minute with lame excuses. After a week of putting ear drops in and suffering a nightmare of deafness it's not good enough

Ruined my daughter?s first glasses experience. She needs to take her frames to have prism lenses fitted at hospital on the first day we went to decide they had no idea what we required even with our hospital slips. She decided a pair and was told as she needs the prisms done elsewhere she could immediately take them which she was very happy about it was then established that the sticker on the lenses was not a sticker so she was then told she couldn?t take them but she could get them Tuesday so she?s now not happy but we can work with it. We go through the process go to leave to then be told no it?ll be Wednesday. Wednesday arrives and we get told no it?ll be Monday so we decide to get a second pair that have stickers that can be removed so we can take them and get them sorted asap I explain that is exactly what we are wanting to do to 3 people who say that?s no problem. We choose some more glasses (and wait while the colleague finishes their conversation about jäger shots)so she can take them immediately to then be told they are too small so we review the size in contrast to the other pair and establish the 1st pair are actually smaller so either the 1st pair are going to be too small now or the colleague looking at the second pair was wrong (either way someone needs retraining). The colleague then decides with a second opinion these 2nd pair are now fine. We again explain we want to take these now and are told it?s fine by the 2nd opinion. Despite me telling the colleague she needs the prisms at the hospital she continues to ignore what I?m saying and ask what lens she?s needing. We get to the till and it becomes apparent I?ve been ignored because the colleague says they will be in in 2-3 days (given it?s taking 10 days for the first pay this seems unlikely) to which I explain we have already discussed that we want to take these. She then goes to the back and rudely says you can?t have these it?s not a sticker I show her that it is so she goes off again and then comes back with someone else who says they need safety glass in them so we can?t have them I explain we were told that we could and she then says well you havnt shown us your exemption to which I explain they have a copy on file. Daughters now upset again after being messed around. There seems to be a fundamental breakdown in understanding here. One set of people were happy for us to take them and the others are saying absolutely not. One set telling us glasses are the right size others saying they are too small. No one really understanding the medical exemption from the hospital. Telling us 2-3 days both times and it being clear that isn?t achievable for them and then when finally trying to at least confirm that the original pair are coming finding out that no one has bothered to chase them. All my daughter who is 7 wanted to do was get her glasses and she?s been messed around so all in all an awful experience for her.

rubbish I told her that I couldn't see clearly with the driving glasses, was told not to try too hard let the lenses work. Take them and try for two weeks. Went elsewhere and has another eye test, different outcome.

Shouldn't have gone to Specsavers. I think the only thing they ever got right was the eye test.
