Rude abrupt pharmacist I had used all my prescription of painkillers and went in to buy some more as I couldn?t get a prescription from my doctors but I got my head bitten off and told me with a bad attitude that I?d been given enough to see me through without even bothering to check the computer only to find out I had ran out went to another pharmacist and got the painkillers I needed and have changed pharmacies though I?ve always found the other staff working there nice lost a customer as the pharmacist hasn?t even apologised to me wouldn?t recommend.

A year into the pandemic and nobody who works in this pharmacy seems to have worked out that facemasks also need to cover your nose.

Had a prescription for an uncommon antibiotic sent to this pharmacy from GPs office. They didn't have it in stock, but gave us the paper preacription to try at other pharmacies as we needed the antibiotic ASAP. Managed to find the sought for antibiotic at bigger pharmacy. However, we couldn't collect the antibiotic at the bigger due to a glitch in the NHS prescription service. This was all happening at around 17:30, 15 minutes before this pharmacy would close. In a desperate situation to collect the antibiotic, we had made the call to this pharmacy, as the NHS server issue had to be rectified from this pharmacy. They actually picked up the phone provided on their information page and were very patient to help the staff from bigger pharmacy to dispense the long sought antibiotic. We are very grateful as the issue got only solved at around 17:50, 5 minutes later after this pharmacy closed. Moreover, from our past experiences, other pharmacies wouldn't even pick up their phones and would just keep the lines busy on purpose! This all happened on 23rd January 2020. Many thanks to the brilliant staff, as I'm not sure that other pharmacies would have done the same good of a job as this pharmacy did.

Do not use this chemist their "customer service" is severely lacking so is their repeat prescription service. Their lack of understanding and empathy for severely disabled people is astounding to be told "boo hoo we all have our problems" by a member of staff because they didnt order the repeat prescription which left a disabled person with no medication and if you have multiple issues you have to choose one medication to have as an emergency prescription you cant have a 3 day allowance of all of them. Every month there are issues, this is not a one off, it's either the wrong amount or missing items and they wonder why people get upset and frustrated. ONLY use this chemist if you want substandard service and half or none of your prescription.

My wife and I have had our prescriptions dispensed here for many years and have always had excellent service. The pharmacist and staff are very polite and helpful. Ignore the negative comments as they are not true.

I don't know what's happened this place as of the past year, but it is dreadful. They don't even seem to have a system for repeat prescriptions that are done online to match their computer system, let alone people coming in to buy something. There's almost always a long queue of customers that are sick of waiting and just walk out, and as for the "it will definitely be here tomorrow" is just a statement that gets you out of the shop without an argument.

Unfortunately well chemist has missed the mark on customer confidentiality customer service and being discrete. Sad to say. This does not in any away reflect on the lovely ladies that work there who are always a pleasure, but the pharmacy management/manager. Leaving a customer feeling embaraced in a line of people. quite let down & dissapointed by well pharmacy.
