Came for Christmas day lunch as we had such a good time the year before. Tables were very poor with just a cheap cracker, knife and fork. No glasses or table decorations. Service was slow and waited ages for coffee at the end. No clean mugs apparently and no mints to finish. We won't be back next year.

Food was amazing here today, we have visited here once before and remembered our server from our last time Shaz from over a year ago, if only everyone in customer service was like her so memorable and friendly, I have had many years in customer experience and she is definitely an asset here, above and beyond! This lady definitely needs rewarding absolutely fanntastic service!!!

Nice place, food was good, staff friendly we just popped in for breakfast on the way home after a few days away before we drove home. Only down side is access by car to the place, getting in ok but out what a pain. Could do with a mini roundabout on to the main road. Thanks for the food though.

We couldn't of wish for a better breakfast. The waitress (Monica ) was very good , very helpful. The break was cooked just right. We had poached eggs and they wasn't any water on the plate at all. Thank you . We'll be back.

Fantastic server today, Shaz . We had the same lady last year. Very friendly. In the Christmas spirit which we loved. The harvester itself is spotless with a lovely friendly atmosphere !

Very disappointed. We went for our Xmas dinner as a group as we have done year on year. There were no Xmas crackers on table. We asked and they found 2 between 12 of us. They said they only provided crackers for Xmas meals!! We were having our Xmas meals. They also said there was no vegetarian gravy as they didn't provide it!! Two of us were vegetarian.Vegetarian options: Very limited on the Xmas menu

The restaurant was cold. Two of us ordered the Christmas meal with Turkey.. We were told there was no turkey left so we ordered the chicken instead. We were then told there was some turkey left so we went for that.We waited over an hour for the meals to come and when they did they were not very warm. I asked for the profiterolesbut they didn't have any left. I then asked for the apple pie and there was none of that left either. My nephew ordered from the usual menu and his was fine. When the bill came it was wrong and the waitress had to change it.Usually the food is excellent and so is the service but not today.Parking: Just behind the restaurant and to the left of the restaurant

Relaxed atmosphere around lunch timeNice gesture getting blue light discountSalad bar was lovelyThe chicken was overcooked when grilled. Inside was succulent but the outside was more charred than it should have been making parts to hard to eat on all 3x mealsKid-friendliness: Provided a high chair and activity pack

Well it was a Sunday evening and not very busy, so the atmosphere was really what we as a family made it - it was lovely! As for the service and food, I think we were all pleasantly surprised, it must be over 20 years since my husband and I were last in a Harvester that we could give 4 stars to. We have been going to Harvesters more frequently in the last few years as they are a favourite of our wonderful Granddaughter - she loves the salads and being able to go and help herself. In previous Harvesters - dating back to the early 2000's - maybe even as far back as the early 1990's, I would have only scored them between 2.5 and 3 for the standard of the food, so last night's meals really were a nice surprise. I hope that this Harvester can keep up the good work, as it would be lovely to have a reliably good Harvester this close to our home at last. That the staff were friendly too was of course also part of the pleasant experienceVegetarian options: They had a few vegetarian options to choose from, and the plant based burger uses our favourite meat alternative, so that was also a nice surprise.Parking: It is just across the road from the restaurant, and we had a reasonalble choice of parking, but this was a Sunday evening and parking may become more difficult at busier times.Kid-friendliness: Well our Grandchild is growing into a perfect young lady, and there were no other children there at the time, so it is hard to give a full comment on that. They did however provide a few crayons and a colouring book for younger children.Wheelchair accessibility: There is not really much I can add, I was in my manual wheelchair this time, and there was plenty of space, but they may be more pushed for space at busy times, The accessible toilet was also slightly more accessible for disabled people than is normal in most restaurants and supermarkets.

I've had my first dinner and breakfast in England here and I'm definitely happy that I chose Harvester. Atmosphere, service and the food are all great and people are kind. Highly recommend for everyone who's hungry or just want to have a drink.
