The staff here are truly lovely and attentive. Unfortunately, there was trouble with an individual coming in and causing a disturbance however this was handled well. The staff were unbelievably kind and made gorgeous drinks. Really wonderful people and a great place to come and work with friends :)

Louisan was so, so lovely. She made a lovely caramel latte, gave me a cafe Nero points card and just had a positive, friendly energy about her :) made my experience really nice and it was refreshing to see!

All of the staff here are super lovely, my gift card wouldn't scan and the lady let me have the drink for free which made my day. The staff are super attentive and can't do enough for you, really cute atmosphere I often sit in here and do work.The only thing I would say is that the toilets are often unclean, but to be expected as they are public toilets.

The standards of service in some branches of Cafe Nero are very poor. I ordered a coffee with caramel and they forgot the caramel. They only gave me one spoon for two coffee's despite asking for two!! When I asked for a tray, they told me they didn't have any at the moment.

Dear Nero,I am writing to formally express my severe dissatisfaction with the service I received at your establishment. I encountered a situation where your staff, specifically one Caucasian male and one Indian female, displayed a concerning lack of understanding and professionalism. Their attitude was not only unhelpful but also came across as arrogant and possibly discriminatory.I requested a large frappe latte, an item clearly listed on your menu, only to be incorrectly informed that such a size does not exist. This response was not only inaccurate but also dismissive. Furthermore, the male staff member made inappropriate comments about my accent and command of the English language, which I found deeply offensive and disrespectful.This incident has compelled me to report the matter to the authorities as a potential hate crime. It is imperative that such behavior is addressed immediately to prevent future occurrences of similar or worse incidents. Popped in for a Coffee Meeting and although it's quite a small facility it's very cosy and the Coffee was well done.Bonus mention is that there are power sockets for your devices by several of the seats.

The seasonal coffee blend - all employees are obliged to ask customers if they want it. It costs +30p. Employees ask: "Would you like to try the Winter Blend?" ? I have no problem with this. However in this branch, no mention of 'Winter Blend'. The first employee was asking if they would like "Smooth or Strong" coffee; the second if they wanted "Rich or Smooth". No mention of which of these options was the 'Winter Blend' and incurred the additional +30p fee. So I confronted them and asked them which is 'Winter Blend'. They said "either Rich, or Smooth is the Winter Blend". Which means they each have their own version. What a minefield. It's deliberately deceptive, and they knew it. I visit Nero daily in Headingley and I chat with the staff. The up-sell is in the contract, but there is nothing about being deceitful. This is a personal choice the employees at this branch have made. Shame on them.

Customer service was not great! Staff were just chatting away and on their phones for a while whilst there was a queue of people waiting to be served! No apologies or anything when they eventually got round to serving people. We were then told they were closing early once already seated with half hour notice (closing at 17 as opposed to 19:30 on the website) - no reason as to why there was an early close (it would be understandable if it was an unforeseen circumstance), this would have been fine also if we were told earlier as I think most people sit down in cafes for a bit longer than half hour?!
