We went there to have coffee/tea and cake. I had cappuccino regular (£3.50) and my husband ordered breakfast tea (£2.65). My cake - chocolate and pistachio mouse (£3.95) was very good but my husband's cappuccino cake (£3.50) was a bid dry. We had pleasant view at the opposite Bourse. Toilette was clean.

I came into your Nero about 17:30 pm on Saturday 24th February. There is obviously no management presence. Baristas on their phone, colouring in coffee beans with a felt tip and just literally stood there whilst another colleague was rushing around, sweeping, filling up, returning with washed glasses (thin girl with red hair). One Barista ran outside to catch a balloon and proceded to chase the balloon around the store, she literally wrapped some birthday balloon around her head whilst another took pictures. Just such random behaviour, it was so cringe and made my visit really uncomfortable. I think there needs to be a standard of behaviour. No other Nero stores carry on like this so why should this one. Disappointing visit.

Went to Leeds with a friend, we usually go to a Costa but couldn?t actually find one so decided on here as we were walking passed. I had a honey oat latte - it was delicious. The staff were really happy & friendly. I had knocked my finger, which was bleeding, the young girl was very attentive in cleaning it & putting on the famous blue plaster. The down side was the toilet which was very blocked, but as soon as I reported it they took action. A**

Worst experience ever in this shop, we have been almost kicked out of the shop!After we've chosen a table with three chairs as we were three and sat to have what we ordered, suddenly a lady, we understand her to be the shift leader, came to tell us that the area was closing and that we needed to leave, the shop was open and other customers were still sitting. We asked for more time as we didn't finish yet.She came back after a while in a rage, yelling and hitting chairs on the floor, asking us to leave again, knowing that the shop was open still and other customers were still there. When we expressed our disappointment, she didn't even matter to apologize about the inconvenience, she kept talking, aswe complained, so rude !So disappointed !!!! As a tourist I expected much more of a service quality's than that !!!

It?s was first time to visit Nero cafe in Leeds and it will be the last as the staff is very rude specially the shift leader with Red head which was screaming in the cafe without reason to the customers and telling them to not seat even if the cafe has 1hour left before closing time as she want to do the cleaning during the working time that?s why start kicking everybody out and the shift time didn?t finish yet and starting throwing the chairs.

So disappointed. Been going to Nero's over 10 years. Boy has it gone down hill. We wanted two hot soups, a bit of bread, a latte and a flat white - that's all. Waited at the counter 15 minutes for two cold soups, sorry no bread (so we had a croissant each instead), no spoons with the soup (until I asked) and no spoons with the coffees either (until I asked). No napkins either! She nattered to the other server, all the time ignoring me. No apology for anything. Please go elsewhere. This very poor. I felt like an inconvenience to them. Needless to say, I won't return.

It was clear that I was a big inconvenience to come in and ask to order a drink. I asked if they had a toilet and they smirked at me saying "yes of course' quite sarcastically. I then had to be a bit clearer and ask "where is it please?" To which they gave me directions letting me know I was inconveniencing the chat the two members of staff were having. I then pay for my drinks, set my stuff at my table and go to the toilets to discover I needed a key. Surely good customer service would be to have let me know that already. So I go back and ask "do I need a key for the toilets?" And they huff and puff to have to unlock the toilet for me. Which by the way the toilets are disgusting. They haven't been cleaned in a long long time. I dont often use cafe Nero but I now have a valid reason to avoid in future.The coffee was OK.Definitely put off using again. I would imagine other locations may be better but this isn't the one at all.

Coffe Nero for me is more than coffe area. I'm going there when I'm happy, I'm going there when I'm sad, when I'm down about my feelings. I like this coffee shop because is part of my life. I'm alone that's why I'm going there to get feel free. I hope i could explain well because of my English.

It was really dirty and run down, the person serving was unkempt and looked really fed up, no smile, no welcome. Got order wrong with no apology.

No idea what the drinks were like as didn't want to stay for more than 15 minutes waiting to be served. Staff ignored us instead of acknowledging we were waiting. Ran out of pastries and we went in at around 9.30am.
