Female 24Used a free service to get my brakes checked due to hearing grinds and squeaks. I also paid for a clutch and steering check which they didn't do and still haven't given me my money back for...I got a call an hour after drop off to which I got a quote of £400 and that my front discs and pads needed replacing and my rear shoes also needed replacing along with a brake fluid change...I got a second opinion and a third opinion...A job i got quoted £400 for was done £80 later... just a brake pad change ( discs were fine) and a rear shoe CLEAN not replacement.Cant help but think they saw a damsel in distress and took advantage.After reading the reviews before I wrote mine, I wish I would have read the reviews before I even went.Dread to think who else they have taken advantage of.Will not be returning

Came here as my car decided to lose almost all of its engine coolant, the man who served me was so wonderful, and incredibly helpful. I left with my coolant AND screen wash topped up. Didn?t get a name sadly, but what a lovely worker

Very Happy Customer!!I recently purchased 4 Michelin Crossclimate 2?s. Within an hour or two of dropping the car off, I received a call from the centre manager. Informing me that my front left wheel had two substantial cracks. Given that it was still early in the day I was able to make arrangements for a new wheel to be delivered the next day. Very pleased that I was contacted so swiftly. Overall great service!As for the Crossclimate 2 tyres?. I?m absolutely blown away by the feel. Night and day! (Smooth, direct and surprisingly quiet) A tyre that is well deserving of the super premium title. I?m over the moon.Special thanks to Paul the centre manger and Mark the technician. ?

Bought a Napa battery online to be fitted at Halfords. When I checked on what was fitted I found an own brand battery that according to Halfords was not suitable for my vehicle and would have been £30 cheaper.

Great service, after being let down by recovery and emergency tyre services with 5 hour wait times I managed to get my punctured car to Halfords by 6pm, Rob (apologies if I got the name wrong) pulled out all the stops to overcome the lease company authorisation wait time and hunt out a tyre (even though shown as our if stock on their system) and have me back on the road by 740pm this saving my next days lessons and tests. Thank you for going the extra mile ? Daryl

Appalling customer service. Rude staff.I had a very disappointing experience at the Halfords Autocentre in Halifax (Wade Street). Upon arrival for MOT test, to my dismay, I was informed that my MOT appointment time and the test cite had been changed from 11am to 3pm. I was not informed about these changes.What compounded the issue was the handling of my concerns.When I returned at the rescheduled time to discuss the confusion, the response from the manager was not just unhelpful but outright hostile. Manager Rob spoke to me in arrogant and condescending language, which made me feeling upset, inadequate and utterly shocked.This kind of interaction, where a customer feels upset and unwelcome, is completely unacceptable in any service setting, especially in one as critical as vehicle servicing.Given the lack of professionalism, I had serious doubts about the integrity of the service I would receive, leading me to cancel my Halfords premium membership, all further appointments and seek services elsewhere.This experience has deeply disappointed me, and I feel it's important to share it to caution others about the level of service they might encounter at this Halfords service location.Book elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

I rung asking about power steering fluid and if thwy could look at it. The guy said that my car doesn't have fluid and it was going to cost me £700/£800 for a part my car didn't even need after taking it elsewhere to find out my car only needed fluid topping up. Clearly jusy wanting to take advantage

Awful customer service truly terrible, the whited hair guy told me to go back the halfords i came from and ask them after booking them, literally had to drop off for 11.30 hes wortheless person tried selling diagnostic test after i told him my main issue, clearly was more intersted in selling something rather than fixing my issue, one my the worst experiences ive ever had at halfords the whited hair guy should be fired total prick, its like they dont even want customersService: General repairs & maintenance
