I have been a patron of this station for over 5 years. I go there exclusively to fill my old work pickup. I usually use the app to purchase fuel. On the 20th Dec it only charged me £30.01 for £99 worth of diesel so because I am honest I pulled up and went to the desk to pay the remainder. The staff inside told me I had to pay the full amount and then the £30.01 would be refunded to me automatically. I waited 14 days and it didn't. I went to inquire about this again and I was told I would have to come back to the place when the manager was there between 6am and 2pm, times when I am at work. I tried again another day but I was told the same thing again. No one took any notes or took my number, I just had the orders to be at that certain place, between those times, physically present. This week I went to refuel and made plans to lose a bit of work and go for 6am so that I could try and see the manager at the same time and try to sort it out. I used the app as I usually do which I set up in the cab and then go out to use the pump as phones are often not allowed to be used on forecourts. On picking up the nozzle I see a sign I hadn't noticed on the pump telling me that the app isn't working so I think 'oh well I will have to go in and pay at the desk'. Suddenly all the pumps in the whole station turn off and stop flowing, including mine, and a man's voice shouts "the app isn't working" over the tannoy. I think to myself that I know this but I haven't finished fueling so I wait for the pump to reboot. When it's rebooted I try to carry on refueling but this caused the man to shout angryly over the tannoy "pump 6 (my pump) the app isn't working!!" no "pump 6 could you come to the desk please" no. So I went inside and I was met instantly by aggression from staff, a female and the tannoy man put me on the spot Infront of all in the shop and blamed me for crashing all the tills and pumps like I worked there or something! Was I supposed to say sorry?? As I think anyone would be I was a bit disgruntled by this and tried to stand up for myself, yet I never swore or shouted as I am not like that. I just tried to get them to allow me to continue fueling which after a stand off and asking for the manager and speaking to her they eventually did. As I left I did very briefly while walking vent to a fellow customer about my situation. I went back to my vehicle to continue fueling and the pump wouldn't work again. Then in front of the whole busy forecourt the female's voice came over the tannoy barking angryly "you're not getting any more fuel because you have been abusive". I mean, am I in a petrol station or a dysfunctional family at this point!! I felt very embarrassed and upset by this and I had not been abusive if anything I had received abuse and not returned it! The CCTV record will attest to this. Considering this behaviour and all the factors I strongly suspect that the staff themselves reset the tills and pumps and they lied to me about it being my fault. How can the app malfunctioning do that? Even if it is so, maybe they need to place better signs or have a way of disabling the app, something I'm sure they have. I had to go back in again and I joined the queue to pay for the fuel I already had put in. But according to my phone the app had worked and I had been charged for it! So I left the queue and approached the manager again about that and to try to complete my refueling and to introduce the main reason I was there, to get my £30.01 back. Deflated after the app was shown to work and her outburst was revealed to be a total farce the female seemed to disappear. I went back out again and finished my refueling and paid for this at the desk. I then asked for the manager to try to sort the refund. She seemed reluctant to help due to all the furor totally caused by her own staff. She also kept saying she didn't know anything about my case. I managed to convince her to look into it after explaining that I was in this situ

Excellent customer service and excellent choice for food and beverage. There is a great choice. Greggs. Subway. KFC. Burger king. And a Spar all inside the complex .

Staff members are EXTREMELY rude, unpleasant and aggressive. Especially the large blonde haired women, bald skinny male and slim build red haired women. Like to argue with customers, customer service skills are appalling and need to rethink their job choices. No aloud to buy any form of energy drink if you?re present with your child and they instantly presume you?re buying for the child never had this anywhere else. Like to shout across the whole store to cause an argument. Staff need some further training asap. Maybe owners/managers should be checking CCTV more often to see their argumentative staff.

I use this garage daily. I have one major complaint. That is falling on deaf ears.... And that is the tannoy above the HGV pumps. I took a screenshot of the decibel level checked. 98.5 dB. Is dangerously high........

I really think the staff here should do a little bed time reading and look at the government advice impartial exemption of face masks and what it legally required by the public

Absolutely terrible AdBlue pump. Honestly the worst in the country. Avoid at all costs. Also call themselves a service station when they're clearly not. This clearly justifies the prison rates on cigarettes.

I like it here got subway Greggs spar shop that sells a good selection of food drinks etc also can do lottery here and fill up fuel - ok prices too just a shame itâ??s a bit far from where I live otherwise would visit regularly - only 2 disabled spots but other spaces are outside the door too so not too bad for anyone with walking issues
