Visited to look for a new gas fire for our living room. We were helped by Steve, a very friendly salesman. We found a fire & surround to suit us, placed the order and were given a list of gas fitters for us to contact when the fire was delivered. Looking forward to seeing the new one in. ?

The information, help and advice was great at the time of sale. the installation went well but when a fault developed in the stove within the first 12 months their response was terrible.They told me that any warranty on the stove wasn't with them but directly with the manufacturer in Germany.Then they offered to help by seeing if they had the part in stock although I would have to pay for it. Weeks passed by and I had to chase for info until they said they didn't have the part but could order it in if I paid up front. I paid and then I waited, and waited and waited. After sending emails chasing them up they eventually said that they couldn't get the part from the manufacturer and would return my money. This triggered more waiting and follow up emails until the cheque eventually appeared.I managed to source the part I needed from another company.Artisan are good when you are buying a new stove, they can't help you enough but their after sales service is the worst.

Really poor after service .Spent nearly £4000 on a gas fire.Have an issue now and have spoken to customer service several times.They never return a call .Spoken to 3 or 4 different customer service individuals still no outcome .Beware!!!

No customer service, they keep putting you off, hoping that you will just go away. The quality of work,of putting in the fire is none existent, very poor workmanship, I would say to stay clear and go to another company. I wish I had done. Alex Wigglesworth.

this is a zero star company had a fireplace installed by them.. on initial visit and quote seemed very pleasant and helpful.. once taken the deposit the cracks appeared.. had to cough up for a new flue.. which should have been inspected on the initial visit.. the flu was replaced by the brother of one the lads who works on the shop floor.. who absolutely destroyed my roof in doing and it leaks till this date.. the installation job took well over a few months.. the fire needs new batteries every few weeks. The plaster job was an absolute mess.. the fire has never really worked.. well over £4000 spent and still few years later suffering. no warranty no guarantees no nothing.. this is a thieving company. Do NOT use, I hope this review reaches as many people as possible and affects business as you have affected my life and pocket.

Bought a fire from them in 2020 and they arranged installation, we complained has the fire had really low flames and wasn't even warm, they send installer back out who said there was nothing wrong with it, then a few weeks ago we had new meters fitted and they said we had a gas leak so capped it off, got a gas engineer out and he fixed the leak but had to correct some of the pipework that artisan did has it didn't meet regulations they had also left an old gas tap in that was restrcting gas supply to fire, hence to say we now have lovely warm fire at the cost of an extra £250

Firstly compared to everywhere else i visited , the showroom and choice is way ahead. They have their own fitters who come within a reasonable timescale and to me the most important thing is the aftercare, theres always someone on hand . Great company & great people

Bought a fire and surround which were installed in Sept 2021, the fire has developed a fault so I called Artisan, I was advised it was now out of warranty, they didn't repair electric fires and I should contact a local electrician, great customer service.

We purchased a gas fire a few years ago for over £2000 and they serviced it for three years until it run out of warranty. We have tried book a service recently and was told we are now out of there area. Because it is a hole in the wall gas fire no one else will touch it. They would be be happy to sell us a new fire ????. Please make sure if you buy one they will carry on with services.Thanks for reply. You sold and installed the fire. We was not aware you subcontracted the installation out or the servicing.I have been promised a phone call back stating why your not prepare to carry on servicing the fire. Still waiting. The girls said we are out of your area. I bet if I bought another fire you would do it. Surly you have a obligation to carry out servicing and health responsibilities

Wow just had a fire and fireplace installed multi fuel stove taken out ( couldn't cope with the dirt it threw out and hubby's chest was always bad when it was lit.) Amazing service! From start to finish five stars. Fitters Shane and Craig were first class and a credit to the company. They went above and beyond to get the job done the only fly in the ointment was the company that was sent to do a survey on the flue. Not happy with those but Artisan themselves brilliant.

I ordered a fire surround and hearth which were customised to my chimney breast dimensions. It all fits like a glove, at a good price and I?m highly delighted. The fitters Craig and Harry were superb, highly professional and nice guys too. I can only give them the highest recommendation.

Fire Fitted 02/04/2022Fantastic service, my friend recommended Artisan, as she had bought her new fire from here, she came with me, I knew I could only have a fire that could go into pre-cast flue, I was shown the fires I could have and all the different surrounds, we were not rushed at all, I chose my fire, was contacted a few days later to be given a installation date, when the fitter came he was polite, fitted it showed me how it worked and advised me to make sure I registered the warranty , would recommend them to anyone - Thank You
