Good range of arts and crafts products at reasonable prices, some far below other shops for like items. Helpful and friendly staff. Small but varied range of books from baby to adult with multi buy offers.

I am writing to express my utmost disappointment with The Works in Bradford Broadway. In these trying and challenging times, it is important for businesses to provide exceptional value to their customers, and The Works has unfortunately failed to do so.First and foremost, the quality of the products available at The Works is abysmal. The selection is limited and poorly curated, with many items appearing to be nothing more than cheap knock-offs. The materials used in the production of these items are of poor quality, and most are not durable enough to survive even minimal use. In these trying times, when people are struggling with their finances, offering them such poorly made products is not only insensitive but also unacceptable. Moreover, the customer service at The Works is dismal. The staff members are unprofessional, unhelpful, and indifferent towards customers' needs. There is a clear lack of training and customer-centric approach, which has resulted in long waiting times and irritated customers. Finally, the pricing at The Works is unjustified. Given the quality of the products, the prices should be significantly lower. Customers do not want to pay premium prices for substandard products, especially in times where every penny counts. All in all, I would not recommend The Works in Bradford Broadway. The business has failed to provide any value to its customers, from the quality of its products, to the level of customer service, and finally to the unjustified pricing. It is imperative that businesses adapt to the current economic climate and offer better value to their customers. In conclusion, The Works is not worth any customer's time or money.

Very rude! I took her name ADELLLL! She is rude doing simple transactions. How is she still there. I purchased before, she made the whole service hell. I dreaded to go back as I wanted an exchange. She made that so complicated. I don?t know how her colleagues deal with her as she?s not doing anything when there is a que, even a manager shouldn?t do that. Her colleagues do the most work! She is letting the company down. Her very persuasive behaviour I DO NOT NEED A BAG! STOP FORCING IT.

I came to the store today with my sister for the first time and last time. I saw a dinosaur on display and went over to the staff to ask for the price as there was no label on this. There was 3 members of staff standing near the till. I approached the lady, as I started to speak to her she decided to ignore me completely and walk away. There was a gentleman who said I will go in the back to check if we have any more of these. Whilst he went to check if any of these were in stock, I spoke to the lady at the till who said i should be able to find a price and code if this is the last one then we will sell it to you once we know the code. The gentleman came back to me and said it was the last one and also didn?t know the cost of it. I insisted I wanted to buy this for a child who autistic as a Christmas present as he is amazed by them. He then called the manager Adel to the shop floor. I was blown away as this was the person who ignored me when I first approached her. I explained to her who it was for and why I was so desperate in buying this. She said ?sorry we do not have the price for this item and it is the last one therefore we are unable to sell it to you?. I mentioned the staff just told me If I found the product code and price on their website it would be fine to put through the till. She said if you can find it then I will be able to honour it.My sister found the item code and price on the website. The sale price was 8.00. Adel the manager said ?oh it?s normally expensive, about £17? and the woman on the till said ?it has been reduced to £5 in store, we have sold them?. I asked if I could buy the item at the price it was at and adel responded ?yes, but we can?t put it through the till however, you can pay for it online and do it as a click and collect?. I then said if I do that now can I then take this item and her response was ?yes?. So my sister began to place the order, a few seconds later Adel the manager said ?sorry but the order confirmation will come through to us after 8pm so you will have to come tomorrow?. At this point the store was closing in 10 mins and Adel made it very clear that she wanted us to leave so she could close the store at 8 pm. Adel walked away and waited near the doors for us to exit. The lady and gentleman apologised to me at the till and said that?s our manager adel and there isn?t much we can do. We do normally sell them to customers but she?s not allowing it today.I am disgusted with the service I received from the manager. Telling me I can buy the product and then saying no. I?m frustrated because trading and sale standard permit allow consumers to purchase anything displayed on shop floor (invitation to treat). The two staff members working there were great, the gentleman went back and forth trying to find one In the back whilst the lady tried looking for the price.I won?t be shopping here ever again.

Love the works but went on a Sunday and got hypoxic from too many people in the shop. Could you not limit how many people are in at once for H&S reasons?
