Helpful staff who are doing their best, but just not enough volume of experience to get even slightly complex jobs done. To be fair, my wasted morning could have been avoided if my initial telephone conversation about the transaction I wanted to make had been with somebody who knew what they were doing. I'm considering moving my money and finances to somewhere where I can walk into a local branch and talk to somebody.

Having to take on POA can be distressing. Made worse by HSBC being unhelpful and causing additional stress. Sending me back to branch when I've already verified who I am. After 38 years with them, time to move banks. I am so upset and stressed now

Excellent service came to the bank to open kids bank account for all for of my kids first l was told l can open only two on the day but the ladie who was doing the application form she was really nice and pollite and she managed to do all four of the application all in one day within 1 hour 30 mins which was really good so l did not have to make another trip to come back her name is wendy pilotille she is really nice and pollite

Been to the bank on numerous times.my account is frozen for over a month now. I've shown them.proof of documents. That someone lied to there bank. (Hate crime) Spent hours at bank on 3 occasions for this matter. Was told will re open once fraud department recieve these documents. Spoken to them many times but not getting anywhere. Have no access to my funds. And I've banked here for 21 years. Sad days I guess when your put on the back burner after 21 years loyal service.

had a great experience at this branch nice lady helped me with my issue which took a long time I thought she would just advise me shortly on how to sort it out and send me on my way, but she made sure I got done what I needed to do so I don't need to come into the branch anymore or make any more calls. I don't know her name but she looked Pakistani with dyed hair and short acrylics.

Awful experience, over an hour hold on the phone to be told that my phone bank security failed at some point in the past (they don't know when) and I need to go a branch with my proof of identity to update their records. I went to my local branch today to be told that there are several customers before me so wait in the queue as it may be 30 minutes to an hour before someone can take a copy of my driving licence. The advisor on the door didn't understand why I thought the service was appalling as the main excuse for everything going wrong in the world is "COVID-19". Extremely disappointed with HSBC.To post on here you are expected to give at least one star otherwise you are not allowed to post, do they deserve a start for this service I don't think so.
