This is my go-to place for regular food shopping. It's convenient, and the layout is nice, but it's constantly changing, lol. Like the prices, they are reasonably for most things. It is one of the best Asda stores in Bradford. They have a bakery, butcher (Halal), fresh fruits, and vegetables. They provide a very small supply of familiar Jamaican items like milo, maggi seasoning, and grace mackerel, but they are very expensive. I try to buy the Asda branded goods to save money as much as possible, there are some items not worth buying. The Asda brand of apple juice is good tasting. It's better than the Morrisons and Tesco brands, but not better than the Aldi brand. I really miss the pharmacy that was in the place. They also had a cafe, but that's gone, too. The management is really working here, very quick to respond to necessary change. They provide the George brand of clothes, which is a very good quality brand. I mostly buy clothes here for my youngest from Newborn upwards now 7 years old. Most affordable for school uniforms and school supplies. I don't shop for myself or my older son here. They have a 24-hour atm, and I think Asda on the go is the best invention ever. In and out in no time. Pray, you don't get picked for a spot check (that sucks). Overall, Asda, the place to shop.

Paid for my shopping, then as I was leaving the alarm sounded. I was asked to come back into the store and show my receipt. I was told that it was the Niquitin patches that trigger the alarm. I pointed out to the security person this had happened before and he confirmed there was a problem with the security not be deactivated properly with this product.I asked why didn?t Asda sort this out as it was embarrassing for shoppers to be dragged back into the store making others shoppers think the person was a shoplifter. The individual said it wasn?t his problem. As I walked away I threw my receipt into a shopping bag in disgust at having being embarrassed by Asda and not receiving any apology. As I was about to exist through the doors the security person start making verbally aggressive remarks, so I walked back to him and asked him exactly what his problem was.At this he called his manager, another one who refused to apologise and instead insisted it was my fault and I should have ensured the security on the above product had been properly deactivated. After hearing this I left the store. These people know there is a problem, instead of taking ownership and apologising, they blame the customer.

The two star rating has been given for the shambles asda calls the delivery service. Everytime I order from asda whether its for home or work the order is never on time. I appreciate the traffic can be horrific at times but every order? The tracking service is poor. U get a text message hours and hours before the delivery slot to say the driver is on their way. When the slot time approaches the delivery driver isn't on time.I was due a delivery today the time booked was between 2 and 3pm. Come 4.30pm and no idea where the delivery is. Rang the helpline to get through to a bot who couldn't even speak English properly only to be told I have to wait for the delivery as its in the process of making its way to me I can't reschedule or cancel the order. I explained that I am not home now and no one will be there to receive it. I might aswell speak to a brick wall because this bot was having none of it. He wasn't able to cancel my order as it was in transit or reschedule it. So my option was to allow the driver to come to my house and return as no one home. Then I'd have to ring asda cancel my order and my order money would be back in my account in 3-5 business days. Really rubbish service. Not the first time. I think I'll shop at tesco or morrisons going forward. It would make everyone's life easier if aldi just did a delivery service. Sigh.

Incompetent staff throughout the store who are always in a bad mood when you approach them. Especially on the customer service desk and checkouts. The management needs to take action against certain staff! Chubby female staff with short red hair needs to do her job and not huff and puff when a customer has a query.
