Nice shop and good size,found what we were looking for but unfortunately one of the cds I opened didn't actually have the disc in it! I don't blame the store and they gave a full refund for the cd. Anyway good store

DO NOT GO HERE! Me and my sister have been treated horribly by a member of staff on two occasions. I didn't catch her name but she had glasses and blonde hair. We have had to return items as they weren't what we expected and she's been extremely rude to us. We both described why we didn't want the product, as they weren't described properly on the packaging. She then claimed we have "no reason to return it" and kept repeating that this is the one time she can allow it. I had to literally tell her "I get it" for her to stop. The fact that this has happened on two individual occasions proves it is her who is the issue. This HMV has never changed , I have been coming here for years. It should been shut down like other HMVs have been. Their staff can't change either and they are completely behind compared to other HMVs like in Brighton. They have a lacking selection of vinyls too. Everything is on sale as they haven't had new stock in months. I hate being angry at service workers as I'm one too but I could not help it this time.

Regularly go here to get CDs , just a few things that have put me off recently, the alphabetical system for CDs seems to be very broken, and at times it's been a struggle to find the band I've been looking for.And my most recent visit, I was asked to give an email address in order to get a receipt, not sure why, I never return things.But overall it's a solid shop, the staff are always helpful.

HMV is really getting there with vinyl choice, own limited editions, good selection of weekely releases. Friendly staff as well. I just wish they didnt fill the bins so full it makes digging difficult sometimes.

Great record shop, good selection of vinyl, wish there was a greater selection on cd's. Stocks all the other usual HMV stuff ( t shirts, posters, audio equip). Could do with larger premises but all in all great to have.

They have some nice items, but they can be really overpriced. Sometimes me and my friend feel like we are being constantly watched whilst looking around.
