Loved the table to the right of the fire. Pork was delicious but think the lamb was overdone when we asked for it to be pink. Delicious desserts. Lovely ambience and delightful waitresses.

Excellent location, great outside ding area/beer garden. Inside full of character. Very good staff, (with a sense of humour), menu - varied choice, wellcooked and presented, beers/ciders many any varied.I often return, on well established walking routes close to the old Petworth train station converted to hotel/ B&B.
