“Had some time to kill in Haywards Heath, so I thought I'd check out the Shell Garage. Admission is free, but was a lot smaller than I expected, giving it a boutique vibe. Good selection of Jamie Oliver wraps, and the staff helpful with the Costa machine. I've marked it down because there's really no need to be here since I was banned for driving without insurance. ?”

“Generally the main garage I always go to fill up car/bike etc. You'd think a petrol station convenient store type are always way more expensive as usually the last shop open until morn but its a Co-op so it doesn't have that issue. Easy 5 stars”

“Standard fuel station with jet wash and air pump. Has good selection of items in shop with a costa coffee machine and toilet. Staff could have a lesson in customer service as none of them hold a conversation when I try.”

“It had been a long time since I had last entered a Shell filling station, following a fracas I had at this very establishment regarding an infamous brand of menthol smokes, however I decided it was high time I paid a revist to this all-night service station and put my emotions behind me. As I entered the forecourt of the aforementioned business I was rather taken back by the overwhelming yellow-ness of the canopy and was rather concerned at how it swayed to and fro in the breeze. I pulled up to a pump and began to pump my chosen liquid - in this case the rather expensive 99 octane Vpower unleaded. One has to choose this premium fuel as I drive a 'top end' taxi. I finished pumping and entered the store only to be greeted by an old memory: the scent that is a Shell sandwich and the famous meal deal! I walked up to the server and gave them my pump number and was told my price. I handed the man my hard earned cash when suddenly it all came flooding back... it was this exact scenario all this time ago when the aforementioned fracas occurred... I couldn't shake the thought of mint flavoured cigarettes out of my mind and I had to ask if they still served them, "My good man", I cried, "do you sell Sterling Dual?". The good worker was about to answer when suddenly another customer caught his attention about a rather pressing matter and ended my conversation dead. I never found out if they sold Sterling Dual and by then I was reluctant to ask again, I paid my debts and walked back to my chariot. Overall I was happy, happy that I had faced my fears of this garage and happy that I had put my emotions behind me. I was full of Vpower and full of pride and I drive off into the sunset and on to the monstrosity that is the A23. Will I return? Maybe. When will I return? It's impossible to say, most likely when I'm in need of pound coins because, as I have mentioned before, I drive a taxi.”
