Everytime I come here there is a ridiculous wait time, minimum half an hour wait (at best!) sometimes just to be told to do things online.The branch shuts at 5, meaning working people can only attend at lunch time. If as an establishment you know that, and know you have excessive wait times every single day surely you would do something about it and have more staff on the counters during peak times!

Drunk's on waiting seats at front of bank. Eventually seen by welcome staff ,told us to queue for the counter to open account.Two counter staff, took over 30 mins,to be told got to open online,the chap who told us to queue was on the next till keeping his head down. Absolute joke, 45 minutes of our life wasted.

Just called to report a card found "they can't contact the owner" cut the card up, no details taken and put the phone down on me!!!! How rude so much for trying to do the right thing!!!!

If you are in hurry do not visit this branch of Halifax. You must wait there is 2 hour before before serve . It's there normal protocol for every customer. They not even deserves 1 star

I have just attended once. "First impression matters". a strong saying. I am really pleased with the attention i received from the young lady that came to assist me. I was one the queue ( a little bit long ), wondering how long it would take to be my turn as I left my baby at home for the first time with her dad. There and then came this lady that was soft spoken and patient. She help with my cheque deposit, while explaining how I could do it next time. She also worked on my card which I had disabled as a result of misplacement. I ended leaving earlier than I thought . .??

Every time I ring the Halifax I cannot get through. Waiting time they say is 20 minutes I spent 52 minutes waiting then gave up!!Plus my call to them is urgent. Not happy

I called Halifax today on behalf of my mothers mortgage agreement as she has a language barrier. Due to security, the advisor said she cannot assist me but advised my mother to go into the branch and they would help with her query. My mother went in today, waited a long time in the queue. She tried to speak to a lady that could speak punjabi but she refused to help despite knowing that my mother was struggling. She then asked help of a another lady and she flat out said I can?t help you sorry. The whole reason for my mother to visit the branch was to pay the full mortgage amount, she only needed to know what the amount is in order to make the payment from her personal bank account. It?s disgusting to know that these people have no understanding of what good customer service is. I?m very disappointed and will not have anything to do with Halifax in the future after how embarrassed my mother felt today for just not being able to speak clear English
