This my local branch and over the last 10 years that I have used this branch I have had some good and really bad experiences.However, this December I deposited some money using a branch machine but the money was never processed by the machine. After, a few enquiries with Barclays online teams and a few call I was told to go to the branch as they would have to check that particular machine that I have used as there was no record of the deposited money.I went to the branch a 09:30 on 28th December 2023. The member of staff that deal with this was NANA.She resolved the issue very efficiently despite it being a very complex problem. Despite telling me it could take upto 7 days before it is fully resolved. Nana called me on the same day at 16:00 to confirm that they have identified the problem with the machine and that the money will be deposited into my card.As it took some time for this to appear on the system and this to be seen by the online Barclays team. I was again told to go to my branch do that they can confirm the issue with the machine . When, I went back on the 29th December 2023 Nana was already working on this and dealing with the relevant teams even before I had request that additional explanation to be sent to the online teams.She was very professional and reassuring that everything will be resolved. I was quite worried as the amount of money that was missing was not small.She dealt with everything very efficiently, the best team members that I have ever encountered in this branch. All the information that she gave me was correct, unlike some of the confusing information I got from the online teams.Very grateful for her service. Wishing her all the very best in her career.Nana thank you again, I really appreciate everything you have done to fully resolve this problem. I felt that you really took this issue to heart and went above and beyond to fix it.I am still waiting for an email from Barclays to give this member of staff the deserved feedback. Therfore, I have decided to give her a shot out here, as her amazing service has to be recognised.

Barcalays has always been the worst and this time the was no difference it?s always such a long wait in every branch I would not use it again if I could.

Told me that no appointment was required, Josh would be there tuesday to thursday, came to branch on thursday and found out Josh wasn't working and because I didn't have a appointment, they just kept me waiting for 1 hour on purpose saying I would be seen but then I was asked to go home and come back another day with appointment. Very bad experience!!

I had the best experience at this branch. I was really pleased to have been greeted and assisted by 4 lovely ladies who helped me with different things, I was seen to fairly quickly also. I recommend this branch for your bank dealings.

Probably the worst branch I?ve been to. I had to change my name on my account and the wait time was ridiculous. I have another account with HSBC and that took five minutes, I was in and out. The customer service is shocking and they have more staff just hanging about rather than seeing to customers. I ended up walking out as I had to wait 40 minutes and I still wasn?t seen

Useless. Staff don't care, and it shows in the service. Wait times are also insane both for in-branch and booking appointments because of understaffing. Everything is done through the app. Nothing is available via branch. Do not recommend. Bank with anyone else but barclays. Closing my account soon.

The one thing I truly hate about this bank is the fact, when my brother has accidently made a purchase I have contacted the bank about this situation and they have stated."So this is a fraud transaction", and they have attempted to close my bank payments and everything. I have asked them to just charge back the money even though the payment has been made on 5th and I was informing them on the 6th.In person this bank is okay, however since multiple branches have been closing if they go bankrupt then they can take all the money.

Terrible service - I booked an hour appointment which upon arrival was told that the advisor was with another client. I left when 50 minutes went by and still was waiting . The worst customer experience and not even an apology from the advisor. Do not recommend.

On 17/01/2023, I went into the branch at 3 different times during the same day for information regarding my account. There was no bank staff on the front desk, there was a queue of people waiting to be served, no seating arrangements for elderly and vulnerable people. The poor Security Guard was standing all day long aswell. No seating arrangements for him either . POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! MANGAER SHOULD BE CHANGED! MORE STAFF NEEDED!

None friendly staff. Had 9 people waiting for counter. 30mins later two people dealt with. One of the counter staff decides to close the counter and go on lunch despite 10 people waiting? Only to be told counters are for business customers and everything else should be done via ATM? Disgusting service

Great service from Pritpal Kaur.She explained everything very well and opening a bank account has never been so easy.Thanks a lot for the good experience. We are very happy to be Barclays customers. You can trust them with your money and great customer service is the cherry on top of that.
