Be careful when having your house fitted by B&Q, as the tradesmen they used are unprofessional. The work suppose to take 4 weeks but they took 6 weeks instead. There was some days they didn't turn up because they was doing jobs elsewhere. They fitted the oven poorly, they boxed it in with no vent for the heat to escape and they place it close to the electrical hobs. So one time when using the oven and the electric hobs together, the oven shut down (we thought it broke). Then the extractor fan, our old one link to the outside. They didn't create one, when pointing it out they said our fan didn't need one as it filters itself. Later we found the parts, the tube to link the extractor fan to the outside. They just want to do as little as possible. The electrician took out our central heating control panel thinking it was a Hive and wanted to place it in the utility room. When they couldn't it was OUR problem and refused to place it back to it's original place. The same electrician who checks all the electrics and gives a electrical safety certificate. We had new sockets in. But found out by chance that one plug was faulty, it couldn't switch off!Lastly they did a poor job with the utility sink, it has been more then a year and we notice a small puddle and assume it was coming from the washing machine. We called a plumber who investigated the leak, it was such a minor problem but created damaged to the cupboards. B&Q workmen did not fit the rubber properly from the condensate pipe. When reporting this to B&Q they did not take full responsibility for the tradesmen they used. As they said that the pipe is ours and not their. But we had a new sink fitted with new pipes for that sink, new tabletop, cupboard and tiles. The new sink is not place originally where the old sink was. The cupboard they cut for the pipe works the divider is where the pipe joint is and also the problem leak. I believe the tradesman knew of the leak and placed a magazine cupboard manual to soak in the slow leak as couldn't be bothered to amend the problem and just want to finish and leave. We didn't spend thousands of pounds to have unprofessional and untrained builders to do the job unless you want the stress and headaches that comes along with it. Won't be using B&Q again.No such thing as 5 years guarantee.

Bought fans with one year warranty. More than one of them started to fall apart (suppose that is why they were on reduced price). Went for a refund and the manager refused and accused us of twisting the head on purpose.Terrible manager with bad communication skills. God alone knows how she became manager..Feel sorry for staff working under her.

Online order went missing after nearly 2 weeks waiting for delivery. Tried 5 calls to this store to sort the problem. No one ever available to talk. Promised call backs never arrived. Now have to wait a week for a refund from main office. Absolutely ridiculous service from this store.

Very bad services as the till people were rude and racist as they don?t want to return my items as they was not clean enough for them but in front of me they and have taken back the items which were in bad condition and also swearing people because they are upset never ever go their

Stayed at home twice for a delivery, still not delivered. Driver didn't see the problem so I cancelled my £500 order. I'll stick to Wickes from now on, thanks for nothing.

Been waiting for over 30 minutes for advice on underlay and asked the staff for help and they just pass me around from one staff to another saying they don?t know! BnQ Erdington is much better

Fantastic support from Harry who works in ?kitchens? a super chap he helped me find a suitable kitchen sink and he did not hesitate to be complimentary and always with a smile. His colleague a young lady too was also very helpful she kept the packaging that was all torn which was a practical idea. I?ll look for these guys next time I return to this store my shopping experience made a whole lot easier by them.

Won't ever go there again never nobody to help you,went in for paint asked member of staff because the paint on the shelf was a return it had been opened asked if they had anymore she said she would discount it,asked if she could get anyone to take it to till as I'm not allowed to strain due to recent brain surgery she said no I've got a bad back so I left it on the floor,got new paint from Screwfix,plenty of staff at this store but nobody ever willing to help, absolute rubbish IL never use b&q again IL use Toolstation or Screwfix at least they help you the nan took paint to car for me,my mum could not lift it,but b&q rubbish, especially wednesbury store really rubbish store,very hard to find stuff you need,and quality is rubbish,hope it closes down, and very rude staff

I've went to the B AND Q store in Wednesbury to purchase some paint as I needed to paint my new roomGot a mixed paint in store when applied to the wall left alot of bubbles which don't go waste of moneyContacted customer service say they cannot help as I needed to test the paint before handVery disappointed as no type of compensation was givenWill cost a lot to repair

Sold a bathroom paint which isn?t fit for purpose, customer service won?t help me. Looking forward to ofcom response, customer service via email was poor service.
