Visited on an afternoon, food was very good and service really pleasant, we had a young child in our party and Waitress Chloe H was very friendly to her and made her feel really special. ??

Came here with the family after a day out, we booked an hour before but it wasn?t busy so managed to get a table, had to wait a bit for it to be cleaned (was there any point in booking then?) but we finally got seated. Firstly we ordered drinks and I was a bit disappointed there must have been some confusion. We ordered Coke Zeros as these are refillable, then three cokes arrived but they were literally full of ice and barely any coke, two sips and they were empty, I then asked for the refill and was told they weren?t refillable because they where regular coke and if I wanted refillable ones I?d need to pay again. I said we?ve been given the wrong ones expecting some sort of good will gesture and just having them swapped for refillable but no had to buy again even though they made the mistake and by the way it?s nearly £4 for a glass of ice and a splash of coke. Apart from this every thing else was ok. The waitress was friendly the food tasted good, portion size is small and expensive but I expected that anyway. Just the whole rip off with the drinks got under my skin like it?s a glass of pop just swap it, it didn?t need to be made into an issue and could of easily been resolvedOverall I don?t think I?ll be going back soon out of principle, its expensive as it is without ripping us off on drinks

We booked a last minute date night and came here and we had a lovely time. The reviews i had previously read were a bit off putting but thought we?d give it a go and i?m so glad we did as the food was tasty and the service was great. Within an hour of us sitting down we had enjoyed two drinks each and our starters and mains. Our seating area was clean also. I?ve marked our review down a star for atmosphere only because at times we thought the music was too loud but we enjoyed the music too

Service took agesss even though it was quiet, I got my drink about 15 minutes before my friends got theirs. Food took 50+ minutes. When my meal came I was told there was no BBQ sauce (weren't told when ordering otherwise I'd have had something different), the waitress said do you want the Jack Daniels sauce instead, but when we got the bill they'd charged me for it! ? I said I assume that it's not supposed to be on there and the waitress said she'd check but then took my friends payments and asked me to pay the rest, did not check or take off the sauce. Couldn't be bothered to argue the point again and didn't want to seem like a crank. Obviously it wasn't about the money just the principle of being charged for something I didn't really want anyway, especially when the service had been really poor! Won't bother coming back, very overpriced for what it was.

Wished I saw the reviews before coming. Came here for the first time. Poor service by waitress who probably had a long shift. No personal customer service skills .Whilst steaks were cooked according to order but they were too burnt on the outside leaving a grimy after taste.Food and service not aligned with the price. Sorry but I won't be coming back.

prices go up every time i come here and the portion sizes are ridiculously small for the amount you are paying. used to be my favourite restaurant but now it is very disappointing. £5 for a side of about 10 chips is diabolical.

What we thought was a quiet Thursday night and stood ages waiting just to be checked in. Place wasn?t empty but wasn?t busy, waited a long time for a member of staff to come and take our order, drinks took forever to arrive and only just arrived before the food. Food was very nice but was expecting bigger portion sizes as none of us were full afterwards. Asked the waiter what sides were included with the meal and said that the cheese and bacon fries were included in the sides offered with the meal. Her and the menu failed to mention that you?d be charged an extra £2.90 per side, so all 4 of us got stung with extra cost on an already expensive meal. Lucky no problems with the food as nobody came and checked, pointless buying a refillable coke when there?s nobody to fill it back up. Waiter was quick to clear the plates but then nobody come back to ask for deserts and drinks. Seen other couples sat in silence both looking in the direction of staff on the other side of the restaurant looking fed up so glad it wasn?t just us experiencing the poor service. Staff weren?t rude they just weren?t to be seen. Extortionate pricing for not a lot of food and poor service. Will not be hurrying back to a TGIs.Edit: didn?t read the other reviews before posting mine, and I see issues with small portions and slow service has been going on for a long time. If TGI comments on this saying on this saying they?ll take my review on board, then ask yourself what have they been doing for the past year when they?ve taken everyone else?s comments on board as well for the same issues..?

We paid £90 for one starter, two mains, and a couple of soft drinks. The food was good, but it was definitely overpriced for what we received. We waited over 40 minutes just for our starter, and then nearly the same amount of time for our mains, even though the restaurant was not busy at all. Considering the prices they charge, they should provide much better service.

Booked a table for 6pm we didn?t get seated til 6.40, took another 20 minutes to order (had to ask to order). Food over rated and expensive for the quality. Service was beyond slow! It was nearly 9 pm when we left mainly the wait for food a waiters attention and drinks. A lot of staff stood in small groups talking especially in bar area, drinks left on side waiting for waiters to take to tables. The SLOWEST service I?ve received. It shouldn?t of taken that long for the amount of staff working it?s more of a social club for them.

Great Staff and Service but I can?t rate the food. Had a variety of starters and mains and they were no better than what you would get from a random takeaway. The atmosphere, service and cocktails were great but the menu is way over rated.

Really busy at 5.30pm on a Sunday evening. Not many beers available on draft. Ordered starters and mains. When the starters arrived at 6.20 we asked if they could get the mains as soon as possible and were told they had been prioritised, but they eventually arrived at 7pm.No apologies for delays and still kept seating people even though they appeared short staffed. Appreciate that people may not turn up for their shift, but let customers know they are in for a long wait.Food average, would definitely not recommend or visit again.

Our experience today has put us off eating at TGI Fridays. Incredibly poor and slow service. Ordered a lemonade and lime, they delivered a lemonade with slice of lime in after 10 minutes. When i asked for lime cordial I was told they had none. After waiting for ages for our food we asked how much longer we had to wait to be told 'There's only two waitresses on!' We saw the meals left under the lights for 10 minutes. When our meals were eventually delivered one was completely wrong and cheesey garlic ciabatta was cold!!! Very disappointing would not recommend.

It was my wife and mine wedding anniversary. We took our youngest out for the day and decided to have dinner at Fridays in Walsall. I should have gone elsewhere when it took 10 minutes to be shown to our table. Even though there was no one waiting in front of us. The hostess just wasn't at their post.After finally being seated, we ordered. My wife ordered the slightly spiced breaded prawns. When they arrived they were raw and the poop chute was still in them. We called the hostess over to ask them to be taken away. She said she would tell the waitress. My son and I finished our starters. Nothing else was served to my wife. No comment from the hostess and the waitress was nowhere to be seen. We called over the hostess again and asked that they just bring the mains because we'd heard nothing about the starter.An hour goes by and eventually our mains arrived. My son's meal had been sitting under the lights for about 20 of those minutes. The waitress had been on break, which is fine, but there was no one covering her section. No communication between the hostess and waitress either. We had to inform her about the shrimp and ask that it get taken off the bill.When our mains did eventually arrive we were given the wrong fries, when the correct ones came the server knocked over the sauce on my plate and then had to have it replated.Given the experience we decided against dessert and asked for the bill.The manager came over and said that the poop chute wasn't their fault because it comes to them from their supplier precoated. Perhaps get better suppliers then. He then questioned the cooking of the shrimp. We had to inform him that they were blue and translucent. He said he would remove them from the bill.Overall this is probably the worst experience I've ever had whilst dining out. Needless to say we won't be returning to that particular establishment and we are seriously contemplating ever returning to any of the others.

Last time I came the experience wasn?t 10/10 but was definitely made up this time, I was sat on a table close to the bar and the lady who served us was wonderful. 5£ cocktails what a bargain the woman knew her stuff was even pushing us to drink which was lovely to hear!!! Keep that woman in the job definitely uplifted the night for us.Food wise we didn?t order too much as we just wanted to pick at food and it was lovely I do say myself.

Food was okay but not very hot.Service was appalling.Double chargedMissed our child?s mealWas given a lemonade however this was soda water and then it took a good 10 mins for a replacementWaited a while for our spoons for our desert to then be offered knives and forks.Deserts where served and no main plates where removed we had to do this ourselvesNot a member of staff in sight and 0 communication between staff.Considering our bill was £145 was a massive let down.Staff 100% need more customer service training
