I came down to The Belfry as part of a group away trip for a golf club. We got to play all 3 courses, which were all very different and great fun. The Brabazon being the stand out with iconic holes and some lovely shots. The National is slightly tougher in my opinion and The Derby course being fairly straight forward but still nice to play and in good condition (played at the start of September 2023).The staff there are really great, friendly, always smiling and happy to help. It can get very busy with weddings etc but plenty of areas to sit down etc in the many bars they have. The evening food on the Saturday that was provided (3 courses for our private function) was fair at best, which was rather disappointing. The service charge being added everywhere is also very frustrating but that?s because Goldman Sachs have taken The Belfry over. Drinks and food are expensive!All in all a great location with decent rooms, good golf courses and a spa which was relatively nice (didn?t play for the fire and ice extra area).Rooms: Rooms are nice, I stayed in the Torrance House on the 1st floor. We had a small balcony area, which was nice. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The Dyson Cooling device needs a clean however because it was very loud when it was on.Food & drinks: Plenty of choice but they did run out of the Camden Stout which was a shame. Staff at the bars are super friendly but they do had service charges onto whatever you order (I think this is because an American firm have bought the belfry, don?t quote me on that though).

Absolutely brilliant place. We came here once for 2 days and decided to make it a yearly thing. Amazing golf courses, the rooms are nice and clean, and the staff are really nice and friendly. We'll worth a visit ?Food & drinks: There's so much on offer for breakfast that there's literally something for everyone, and you can have as much as you want.The menu for evening meals also catered for vegans and vegetarians and as well as the usual drinks, the bar also had a cocktail menu

Wonderful spa experience. Fire and ice to start the day - loved the igloo room after the sauna. Afternoon tea was delicious. Relaxing treatments and peaceful lounge to finish. Will definitely visit again.

Awful experience with administration, Had my daughters wedding at Belfry, venue is great, beautiful, clean and lovely location. Event Manager was no where to be seen, reception desk was visited and called number of times and asked for event Manager Alex who was no where to be seen at all, tables were not laid out as instructed, cake was melting, lighting was not right, easel was broken. Later a new Manager was allocated who tired to help.Reception couldn't find the booking for bridal suite and board room and family members were turned down until I had to get in touch with them. I will not recommend this venue for wedding to anyone.

Brilliant facial and massage from Lauren. Very professional and friendly. Girl who did the fire and ice needs to work on actually being in the area - we waited at our allotted time and she was no where to be seen. Came back and it felt a bit military if I?m honest no the usual standard you have. Made it a little less relaxing than normal. On leaving she again was not in the fire and ice place.

My daughter and I spent a lot of money on a 1 night spa break here. It cost us £380.. we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice relaxing spa break as is advertised on their website. On going to the pool after our treatment, we found it to be like our local leisure centre. We counted 19 children in the pool who were screaming and splashing around. I?m not against kids at all but we went here as it stated a tranquil relaxation experience. We had taken books to read but left after 15 minutes as it was too noisy. Children are apparently allowed in the pool 8-1 and 4-7 so practically the whole day and as we couldn?t check in until 3 the times were irrelevant. I wouldn?t go back here for a spa experience again.. we have complained by email and all we have received is an apology, no reimbursement or anything.. extremely disappointing.

I took my son to play golf for his birthday! The ora of the place is magical. Golf was amazing but the staff in Sam?s bar was above and beyond. Amanda the lady that served us was first class. Nothing was too much trouble and engaged with my son about his birthday! Absolutely fantastic day made better by Amanda in Sams Bar.

great place but the only this was the beer prices as too high would be happy to pay 4.40 to 4.50 for corona instead of 6 pound and then I would come more as the larger is not worth 6 pound. I stayed overnight. would be happy to come to play in the driving range and go to Sams clubhouse for for day trips if the larger price was cheaper like £4.50 instead of 6 pound

I had booked the afternoon tea, spa and treatment experience and I had a back massage and facial with Kelly V it was the most relaxing experience and Kelly was lovely and engaging, taught me all about the lovely products and I left feeling so refreshed and like a new woman. If there was an option to give her more stars then I would, she is a real credit to the team and excellent and her job

Had a fab meal whilst at a business meeting. Food and service was incredible and special thanks to Lottie who was amazing!! We will be back. The rooms were great too and the best cocktails. The bar staff Were so friendly and helpful as were Reception

Although a little dubious about paying extra for family activities before our stay, I am pleased to say that it was well worth the extra The boys got involved in golf, shooting, karting and archery overseen by the outstanding Charlie who made sure that these activities were engaging and safe I recommend thus to anyone with a couple of hours to spare on their stay

Staff were helpful especially Kerry from guest services, as our stay didn't go quite to plan due staff shortages Evie Christina and Alison looked after us 5? to them also our breakfast was amazing especially the poached eggs, one thing I did notice is stressful staff saddens me.

Had a few issues but all sorted with professional staff. Alyson Christina Ellie and Kerrie from guest services. Not booked in untill 4.30 but upgraded to a suite and offered free drinks. Food was amazing

Possibly one of the worst hotel?s I have stayed at. Quite apart from the smell of egg and old and cold booze in every corridor, we were provided with a non-standard room with no hot water in the shower. The bar area was like walking into a Kavos night club. Exceptionally loud music didn?t make talking easy. Would not recommend.
