(Unpoofed/ without prejudice)I've been a Barclays customer since 1986 when I opened my first Bank Account. I've always appreciated the service. So I've never left Barclays and I still have the original bank account I opened almost 40years ago!. I never bank online, and after visiting this Barclays Branch in Solihull (28/9/2020) I was reminded yet again why that is - and if my memory serves me right it was service with a smile!

Terrible bank.Tried to open a joint account. Arrived at the branch for the ID check, Joel told us we wouldn't be able to be served as all branches close at 3pm (definitely in some deep water, if you know, you know). Anyways, he told us to come back the next day, or the day after and we did. Only to be told we didn't have an appointment so couldn't be served ... when Joel told us to just turn up!Raised an official complaint with Barclays. Was told there was no appointments this month at Solihull for an ID check. And no appointments at the Coventry Road branch this month OR next month. Not being funny, but a bank not being able to ID check you for 2 months definitely screams dodgy, something not quite right with Barclays.Would not recommend! Bank with the *black horse logo* is amazingly efficient in comparison, would advise anyone looking to open an account to go there ;)

Terrible service, rude staff, no organisation, keep people waiting and no queuing system. Staff shouting at each other in front of customers. Worst banking service available.

Absolutely atrocious, no staff today at any counters, outside paying in machine out of order and a massive queue for the two paying in machines inside!
