Had a warning light on my Mini Clubman. They got me in and diagnosed the issue straight away and switched off the warning light. Just the service I want from a garage.

I needed some brake disc for my car and looked online and found halfords had them in stock. Went to the store was told they would be 2 3 days delivery so i ordered them and collected went to a garage to get them fitted found out they are wrong so I had to pay labour for removing and re fitting the new and old ones and when back and was told they can't get the one I needed so waste of time got refunding my money for the disc and was told go euro carparts instead. What a waste of time

Have moved lots of stock to a mezzanine level, including wiper blades and bulbs - most basic car maintenance products - but have no lift. No disabled access at all to over half of your stock, no way of being able to browse, compare and select your own products. The only offer of help was to stand in the very long queue so the one poor colleague running around like a lunatic could grab me what I needed once I reached the tills, but I wouldn't be able to choose or compare between models/brands. Not entirely sure how in this day and age Halfords Oldbury think it's acceptable to exclude anyone who can't manage stairs from a good portion of their stock.Edit 9/1/24 - 1 month later. Having contacted Halfords via online chat and direct customer service email on 3 separate occasions with promises of a reply, I have still heard nothing. Clearly alienating their customers and failing to provide access does not mean anything to Halfords retail.

Very unhelpful staff, very rude , no real knowledge of item I was returning, told me my bulb was not one of theirs , accusing me of trying it on with them, showed my receipt , they still did not accept this.Try a different Halfords

Very professional customer service. Dave assured me that the car booked for 16.00 would be ready by 17.00 latest. Telephone call at 16.55 informed me the car was ready for collection. Could not ask for a better first class experience. Wish all business were run as well this. Would not hesitate to recommend to others and will be my first port of call for my next MOT. Thanks again to the team.

Twice I have been in recently, not busy at all and the staff on the tills take 10 minutes per customer to serve. Think I will go online to another retailer for future purchases. Stood there for half hour with 3 customers in front of me. Half soaked is being kind.

Firstly can I just say how appalled I was after visiting the SELLYOAK store. Both myself and my 7 yr old son were looking at the bikes after 10mins or so someone came over to us. I asked if I was able to try the bike on the stand after the guy had finished stuffing himself with a cookie he said yes you can try. I turned my back to look at a different bike and I heard ok, I looked back and he gave my son a small red bike before I could say anything he walked off. So I decided to get the bike down myself from the stand. My son decided what bike he wanted so I went over to the same man who was at the bike counter he said we don?t have that bike, I said can I order it at least. He didn?t even look or make any effort. I just wanted to order the bike my son wants. He said he couldn?t order it so I went over to the other counter to a guy who said he will call someone else over to me as the guy I spoke to was new. I waited by the bikes and I was greeted by another member of staff I explained to him what the other guy had said and I asked if I could order the bike and that I wasn?t in a rush for it. He also told me they didn?t have it in stock and they were not able to order the bike and I have to order online myself. I could t believe not one person in this store could help me order a bike. What happened to customer service!!! Something Halfords in sellyoak defiantly lack!! So a few days later I decided to check online myself. I found that Halfords OLDBURY had the bike in stock and could have it build the next day. I couldn?t believe it. So I ordered it to be collected on the weekend they had it built within 24hrs so if I wanted to I could of collected sooner. As soon as you walk in the OLDBURY store there?s a completely different atmosphere to what I received in sellyoak. Friendly staff on the front till who advised me collection point for bikes were at the back of the store and she would let them know I?m here to collect my bike. I went over to the bike collection point there were two guys, one was already serving someone and one was building a bike. Soon as the guy who was building the bike saw me he straight away stopped and asked if I needed help, he took my order number and got my bike straight away. Between the two guys YAN & KABIR they sorted my bike, put on the stunt pegs and checked over the bike ensuring I was happy with everything. I couldn?t ask for a better customer service from the guys they really are a credit to the OLDBURY team!Thanks again and I will definitely be recommending this store to anyone else who?s looking for a bike etc.

Booked a bike health service at Selly Oak Halfords store. Waited for 30mins to be told they can't repair until Jan 24, not great service at all. So I took my sons bike to the Oldbury store, was seen to promptly by Stuart who repaired the bike within 40 mins and the customer service was A*. My son doesn't have walk on his paper round this week. Big thanks to Yan and Stuart for excellent service and won't be visiting Selly Oak store ever again.

Absolutely inept! Had 2 bulbs fitted, a few days later I was told the headlight bulb was blinding oncoming drivers and illegal. I went back; after waiting an hour, being fobbed off by 2 different staff members there, I stood my ground and then they discovered a cable hadn't been attached to the headlight again after fitting, aftecting it's angle (it was angled up by around 30 degrees). Many apologies followed. VERY POOR SERVICE. Will not be going back. I'd advoid if I were you.Big shout out to Bally who went the extra mile noticing the fault and correcting it. I wish I'd got the name of the guy who created all of this in the first place, and the 2 other staff who were blatantly fobbing me off!
