I am writing this review from the room of this Travelodge at 6am after staying here for 1 night. I am now awake because I can hear the news quite clearly on the tv next door. That's after spending the evening listening to the couple in the same room talking all evening, although the walls are not so thin that I could hear what they were saying. Apart from that, it's the normal Travelodge standard no frills room. Nice staff, though.

Only issue was the noise level. Another patron in the next room was having a party with mates at 3am in the morning. Talking at the top of their voices.

Quite possible the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.Had a room with the window onto the main road. You hear cars constantly all night.Walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone talking. And you can hear the other rooms flicking light switches, it sounds like they are in your room.The fire doors are constantly open all night through the halls so it?s very cold this time of year.Odd characters in the car park which isn?t the hotels fault but with the doors open they have easy access.Not a fun time when you?re staying there to get an early hour flight at the airport.Checking in staff were fine. Only good thing about the hotel.There was no soap in the shower dispenser. I don?t think it has been intentionally filled with water, but because it?s almost directly under the shower head, it is filled with water and diluted whatever soap was left in there.One hard pillow per person. Which for us was not a problem whilst asleep, but if you wanted to sit up together you are not comfortable.Room got quite warm with the single electric radiator.Room was also clean enough, but going off the other reviews, which I am kicking myself for not checking first, stating that the hotel is musty and smells; it must of had a deep in between. However it was not immaculate by any stretch.

Quite an old fashioned feel to this hotel. Good location for the airport and the family room was really big easily one of the biggest rooms we have had. No lift so be aware of that when bookingRooms: Spacious room big bathroom

I often stay in different Travelodges around the country to attend gigs and I am always happy with them as a cheap place to stay. This is the worst one I have ever stayed at. It will do for a night out in Birmingham and location is good as you can park for free and get an Uber into the city. But hotel was filthy dirty (communal doorway black with filth), rooms need updating, breakfast in the Toby carvery was terrible, noisy at night with thin walls and other people coming back, stunk of weed in the communal area, the window in our room was damaged from where someone had clearly tried to break in to the room in the past. If you want a very cheap stay in Birmingham with free parking it will do but not what I have come to expect from a travelodge.

Mitz was amazing really professional took his time with us. His attitude was amazing I couldn?t have asked for more. He dealt with a customer complaint whilst I was checking in and he had so much patience and resolved the customers issue I thought he was the manager turns out he wasn?t he definitely deserves a promotion what a kind person. Because of his service I gave this hotel a 5 star people like mitz deserve good thingsThanks mitz for a good service i appreciate it

Can not rate the rooms, has I didn't have a room!!Walkability: I would not stay there has I know they use it for the immigrants till they can house them!
