Went to get some antibiotics. The staff there didn?t seem to know what they were doing. They then told me to wait until they get the antibiotics, which took an insanely long amount of time. Antibiotics are literally the simplest and more prescribed medication you can think of, I have no idea how it took them so long to find it? The staff was also very slow and it really seemed like they had no idea what they were doing.

This is what a pharmacy should be! So helpful (maybe it's all Browns because the one in Hawkesley was great too)! So much, much better than the Knights ones we've been stuck with around this area! But you need to close this Google Maps listing down and start it again because you've inherited all of the bad reviews of Lloyds Pharmacy.

My mum was finding it difficult to locate a certain medication, I called around several chemist that didn't have any until I called Brown's.The caller was helpful, polite and fast the medication was in stock and I was able to collect it right away. My mum told me the prescription waiting time was quick and she was in and out of the shop faster than our usual chemist. Thank you for your help.

Slow, uncaring and disorganised service. I will be moving pharmacy as it is beyond a joke now.

My partner had a prescription that was sent to the pharmacy over two weeks ago. She got it from her GP early to anticipate her medication running out. After going back daily this week, the staff kept saying to come back in an hour without even taking her name or looking to see if it was ready. How is a prescription from two weeks ago still not ready after all this time? There was a huge queue and people were resorting to just leaving empty handed, many of them elderly and desperate to get their medication. In the hour we waited on Monday, only one person was served. It's also impossible to get through on the phone to verify whether the prescription is ready so it's just a case of going to the branch and hoping for the best which has just ended in being told to come back later. This is not only a waste of significant chunks of the day, but a waste of petrol which is definitely not cheap these days. This is especially worrying when they're only open 9-5 Mon-Fri and are shut for lunch between 1 and 2pm. This leads me to believe that Lloyds aren't hiring enough staff and are stretching their employees to the limit meaning the store has to close at certain times and huge backlogs are racked up. Because of these limited hours, if you have a full time job, good luck getting critical medication. I'd advise changing pharmacy if you live in the Kings Norton area. Brown's Pharmacy on the green is so much better. On a positive note, the guy working on 29/06 was really helpful and provided great service. I don't think this is an issue with the staff, rather it's a management issue. Lloyds doesn't seem like the best company. Also, just to add, the hours listed online are incorrect. They close at 5pm not 6pm. Don't be fooled!?

I?ve been using this chemist for many years and the last year it has become seriously disorganised. I have a repeat prescription and every time I have gone in for my tablets they advise they don?t have the prescription from the doctors. I complained to the doctors and they advised Lloyds at Wychall Lane do have it. Lloyds constantly blame new software but this excuse has gone on for months and months. I?ve been told to come back to see if the prescription turns up and have been without my tablets for days medication which I?m not meant to be a day without. The last time because I?d waited that long without my medication, the pharmacist said he still couldn?t find doctors prescription so asked me what medication I required and the dosage I had and made the tablets up without the prescription slip I?m sure that?s not a good thing to do but hey I got my tablets. Then yesterday turned up at chemist at 5pm and the shop was closed?? Closing time is 6pm.I turned up today at 5.50pm and closed again so once again I don?t have my medication.Lloyds you seriously need to get your act together people in the area rely on you providing a service and you are not providing this it?s simply not good enough.PLEASE AVOID

Awful 'service' here they are totally incompetent! Surely getting vital medication shouldn't be so hard! They make you jump through hoops just to get what you're owed, prescription wise. Tell lies when they owe you medication, saying they don't. The award for Worst Pharmacy goes to these guys.

VERY poor service, i really don't think they know what they are doing. Front of shop staff are helpful enough , but the person dispensing has a different excuse why the prescription is'nt ready ,3 times this week..blames the Doctor or the system or even me ! needs sorting .. one star is a compliment

I wish I didn't have to leave negative or tepid reviews, but this is such an important facility for local residents, I'd like them to raise the bar a bit and be seen in a more positive light. In reading some other reviews and comments it appears my experience of this particular Lloyds store is not unique. In my experience, notifications of prescription readinesss are unreliable. There's often a wait in store despite the Lloyds app suggesting prescriptions are ready and I've previously had to debate that "8 weeks supply" is a NOT the same as two months.

The older lady is the worst counter assistant staff I've ever met lazy and no manners.
