Never taking our car to this place again. We had given our car for belt change here. They broke the old belt in the car before checking the newly ordered belt is fit for the car. The called us and told us what happened but after that no calls to update whether we are getting the car next day or whenever. We had informed them that we have only one car and they didn?t even call us or pick our call to let us know when the car will be ready. My husband called them many times and they didn?t pick up, when we called from a different number they immediately picked up the call, this shows they were ignoring my husbands call. We told them to show some responsibility to inform the customer when it will be ready, to this they said we are abusing them and told us they can?t fix our car. We had to call RAC to tow our car from there to other place to fix our car, luckily the RAC inspected the car and said it is driveable for short distances else it would have costed us £200 to tow the car . All this happened today, this behaviour literally shocked us. Never had such poor and unprofessional customer service experience in our life everWe had booked appointment with them on Jan12th, they had one month to order the belt. We drove all the way to the place that day to know that the new belt is not ready.

Had my MOT done here, and then my MOT retest as well. Staff were friendly, topped up my oil, and made it easy for me to rebook my MOT. Retest was quick and I was able to book it the day before to get it done. They can be a little slow to pick up the phone, but just be persistent, the staff can be quite busy so aren't always on the desk.

Took my car in for an MOT. Got a call from them about an hour later to say they couldn?t do it because the car was ?overheating? and it would be dangerous to carry out the MOT. Took the car to Halfords Oldbury for a repair and they said it had been sat idle for over 2 hours and they just could not get it to overheat. Customer service at Holloway Head was poor. Just a big waste of time

They don't do everything for every car, mines needed a transmission oil change but they can't do it for my car ?

Not a great experience with this halford branch, think its better to go to the one in Perry Barr. They never answer the phone. I took in my work van with faulty air conditioning unit where it wasn't holding gas and I told them that topping up the gas won't fix it, I was told later on that day that my van was all fixed and ready for pick up, I called back and trying over 5 times they answered and the guy who called me was on break and his colleague told me that my van wasn't ready and needed a part, I tried to call back many times no answer so i came into the branch to speak to them to find out what was happening and the guy in the counter was lying to my face when I had voice messages on my phone, anyhow they said they will order parts and call me to rebook, they never called me, had to come back into the branch and they finally set a date for the repair which in fairness they finally did. I needed my screen wash topped up, the guy filled it up with tap water from a hose and did not put any screen wash at all. Not at all happy with the lack of service and won't be returning

Booked Service and MOT on the same day but only did MOT when I was called to collect my car. Passed the MOT but asked me to change tyres when I returned for Service a week later. Not a honest service provider.

I have taken my car to this car nitre for brake fluid change, they charged me £60, and after few days, opened brake fluid reservoir, inside was dirty and black, took it to a garage, they used tester checked the boiling point, they told me need replacing, and they put the car on the ramp, brake fluid nipples were dry and both rear were rusty.

Worst service ever, want to give 0 star. Booked for break and clutch checks. Dropped car 8 in morning, got it back 4:30PM. Said report will be send by email and report includes only break checks. They didn't bother to do the clutch check.

Beware!! Approach with caution or not AT ALL. I must say, had I known that I would be treated like a number instead of a recurring customer I would have never stepped foot in this establishment. Halfords need to impose some customer service, customer experience and general customer relations training to the staff at this place URGENTLY before you end up in bbc panorama or a netflix mockumentary!!! Appalling service and behaviour from the ?manager andy? who speaks to people like dirt or like they?re jokes to him. Husband and I used this ?service? out of pure desperation due to closeness of garage to previous residence and each time we were treated worse and worse. Not to mention the fact that when you call they cannot even be BOTHERED to pick up the phone, letting customers enquire/ check the progress or even update them about changes or urgent matters - they honestly could not care about customer?s vulnerability, affordability or experience! All they care about is overcharging you whilst looking smugly at your face for minimal jobs e.g. my latest experience was due to gear shift wire that unattached from my manual vehicle. andy the ?manager? had the audacity to keep my vehicle at the garage past the date he promised to have availability to inspect my vehicle and decided to himself the job is worth close to £900 without thinking to himself ???..hmm I wonder if this is something the customer can afford outright in this economy? better check with the customer and give them a quote ahead instead of assuming they?ll be happy as kittens to pay when done!? - HAD I NOT TAKEN THE INITIATIVE TO CALL constantly FOR an update and asked him beforehand, this guy wouldn?t even have bothered. Why??? because they think they can!! They steal as much time, dignity and MONEY from you, because they know they?ll always find other unsuspecting victims to take the Micky of! I hope to never see the staff or this place again. Thankfully got my car sorted for less than £100 at a respectable establishment that knows customers aren?t walking cash machines to be taken advantage of and ultimately made a mockery of!Services: Tires
