Today I visited the shop and ordered two magherita pizzas amongst a few other items. I asked the staff how long it would be as none were about yet the staff member informed me 3 mins.The magherita pizza came out on the same tray as the ones with pepperoni sitting, touching and the cheese mixed and melted to each other in the same tray.This is unacceptable and cross contamination and is against food safety laws in the uk for someone who is vegan, vegetarian or of kosher or halal meat eating.The staff member said this is how all Greggs do it, I said no they don?t as I visit Greggs often and all magherita and pepperoni pizzas are on separate trays. As I mentioned it is cross contamination the staff member then went on to say well this Greggs does it like this. Then as I was leaving another member of staff who refunded me decided to separate the pizzas and then add a food divider and proceeded to tell me that it is Greggs policy to cook them on the same tray and leave them next to each other.

I wanted a pastie and a pizza but it was cold it looked like it was sat there for couple hours & I knew they were throwing them away eventually. I asked for a discount or half the price on them and they refused as they still wanted me to pay the full price. The owner of greggs which is in prison doing time on some n0nce case needs to have a word with his brothers that are running it on the outside
