"I recently had a very bad experience at the one-stop store in Bradley, Bilston. The shop assistant became extremely impatient with me because my autistic son took some time to choose his drink from the fridge, approximately 2 minutes. Becky, the shop assistant, displayed clear impatience and asked us to move out of the way, although she did say "excuse me." She showed no consideration for my autistic son's disability, and as a shop worker, I would have expected her to be more understanding and allow him time to make his choice instead of rushing us.Feeling uncomfortable, I left the shop but returned five minutes later to have a polite conversation with Becky. I wanted to express how she made us feel and emphasize the importance of showing consideration for my son's disability. However, she immediately became defensive and raised her voice in front of my son, despite my request for her not to do so. Moreover, she walked away from me while I was trying to explain the significance of being patient with people who have special needs. To my surprise, she even closed the office door in my face.In an attempt to explain the situation, I informed the customers waiting in the queue about what had happened, so they would understand the delay. Becky then pressed a button in the office, announcing that the CCTV was recording. This seemed like an attempt to intimidate me and force me to leave. Throughout the incident, I remained completely calm and was simply trying to raise awareness with Becky about what had occurred in the store. Unfortunately, I received an aggressive response and felt intimidated by her actions. As a result, I quietly left the store. I don?t think I?ll be going back to this store again, Becky should learn how to be more understanding with special needs customers and have a better ability to listen when customers are genuinely concerned about something, a very unprofessional attitude.

I'm not sure if One Stop will like this comparison but think of the best co-op food store and this is what this particular One Stop shop offers and more...truly great "corner shop"
