We have had several items from Nuneaton Heart Foundation.China cabinet, table and chairs, single bed and sets of drawers and the prices and quality are superb. It's more like a top furniture store than a charity shop and it's our first port of call every time we need an addition to our home in Burbage. Pictured are just two of our purchases. Highly recommended 10/10

My first and last experience at this charity shop.I called the charity on Monday 13th September and advised I would like to donate my solid oak charm unit. On getting this booked in, I requested a 30 minute call out before hand, with a description of the unit also. The unit was booked in between 9-4 on Thursday 16th.A worker from BHF arrived at my house at 9:50am, and told me they were just around the corner so was easier to come now. I told the worker that I requested a 30 minute call out before hand, to which he apologised and stated he was not told about this from BHF and showed me the paper work with instructions with confirmation of this. The worker then suggested he would not be able to take it today and that it would now be Saturday before they could take it as it had not been emptied. He went out to speak to the driver to confirm. The driver then walks through into my house without knocking, leaving my front door open, to which I was very unhappy about. He walked over to my unit and advised that they would also not be able to take it today because they would need a tailend with the size and weight of the unit. Again, I told the worker and the driver that I give instructions to the worker on the phone that the unit was solid oak and large, to which they confirmed they had not been told and that very little description was given.I called BHF with my complaints and the customer service was inexcusable. The worker disregarded what I was saying to her and kept trying justify my complaints. She then asked me if I would like to have the unit booked in on Saturday to be picked up, with the words of "the workers on Saturdays are better anyway", to which I was appalled at.I have now contacted Myton hospice furniture store on Baker street for the unit to be collected.

Absolutely disgusted by the customer service of the staff at Nuneaton branch. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Bought a chest of drawers on Saturday and I said I'd collect Monday. Come Monday, the space to put the drawers was not cleared due to the recycling centre being fully booked. I called first thing Monday morning to ask if its okay to collect Friday and lady on the phone said yes its OK, she will make a note of it. Come Friday, as I enter, the manager angrilysays (her exact words) "you were supposed to collect this on Monday, its been hogging up space all week", I told her that I'd spoke to someone on Monday and confirmed collection on Friday and she says "I wasn't told anything". Well that's not my problem lady. Secondly the guys say they are only allowed to drop off to the door, when the car was parked right outside- no one said this when I purchased it. They didn't even have the decency to put it the car when they saw that 2 ladies were collecting such a heavy chest of drawers. Appalling customer service will not be returning to buy anything from here. The best alternatives for second hand furniture in Nuneaton is Myton hospice furniture store and Mary Ann Evans furniture stores- atleast they have decent staff that help you load items in the car and actually tell you "no need to help, this is our job".

Booked a collection online for various items of furniture, clothing, books and other household items. They would only collect from one room so spent several hours packing and moving it all to one room. When the driver arrived half of the stuff was not on his list so he refused to take them, even though I had an email confirming otherwise. The driver said this happens frequently. I have emailed BHF twice about my experience and they haven't even got the courtesy to acknowledge receipt let alone respond. So next time someone from BHF comes knocking at the door moaning that donations have dried up since Covid they can bog off. I won't participating in Tesco's round up for charity whilst they are a recipient. This is the third time I have a similar experience with BHF . They are also extremely picky. They won't take a perfectly good dining room table if there are no chairs with it. My advice is get a skip, much less hassle. In my opinion they don't even deserve 1 star.
