It's like a joke version of a normal b&q. They stock very little compared to others as it's a much smaller store. Not worth going to of you have an alternative. Anything they don't have is likely to be in Culver house cross b&q so maybe just go straight there

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GARDEN FURNITURE/ BUILDINGS!!!I was recently in the market for a summerhouse for a home business. I went into store to order one, and it turns out the one I wanted was basically being drop shipped by a third party. I was coerced into purchasing a B&Q sold building, so if any problems did come up, I could phone the store for further help.I was on a time constraint, and was assured the summerhouse would arrive within 7 working days. 11 working days later, they deliver the summerhouse and it?s half a foot one way, and three inches the other shorter than stated. The loop hole, that they claimed was that the total ?fine print? spec, once calculated added up to the size that was delivered to me. However, I didn't order it online, so I didn?t see the spec when I paid the best part of £2000!! After trusting an in store worker, who assured me of purchasing a 12x8ft build and showed me a pretty picture ( and NO spec! )I was told that it was not a B&Q issue, but a supplier issue ( the very thing I tried to avoid by changing my mind to purchase a B&Q building ) and was told best case scenario the supplier would come and pick it up and issue a refund, but may not be happy about it. ( and let me tell you, I?m not happy about it either! )Having already built the base in which the building will sit- which now looks ridiculous as it?s significantly larger than the build, and put down payment on a builder whilst turning this summerhouse into my last year uni project - I?ve now suffered from all angles, financially, and emotionally and left with no option but to put up a building that?s going to be too small for what I need, once the walls are put onto the base eating up available interior space.Oh, and two parts of the walls are cracked, one from the journey and one from the drivers careless dismantle off of the truck. All staff I was in contact with helped brilliantly, and done all they could to try and help me. This is no reflection on them, but the policy and false advertising.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

What a disgrace. There are no staffed checkouts left. Only this self service rubbish that most people don't want. Add to this a disgraceful practice there they are now storing images of customers by digitally photographing us at the till without our permission and I can only say that I am utterly disgusted. I will be sticking solely with Screwfix in future.

A great store, with everything you can think of for the home and garden. However, I went there to look for indoor plants and was shocked at the prices, which are at least double what supermarkets charge. I mean, £7.99 for a small spider plant that I can buy in any supermarket for £3,00. Never again. Even tools are overpriced, way over what other tool outlets and discounts stores charge. The slogan ?B & Q it? should be ?B & Q it and get ripped off.?

Some staff appear to prefer to stand around talking to friends instead of helping you to find what you're looking for but don't worry I found it in another shop

Wrong sized pipe fittings in tray. Paint I wanted unseen on some obscure overflow shelf. Would have left without buying anything if it wasn't for a staff member who went the extra mile. Place needs a shake up.

A fairly large B&Q shop selling a wide variety of items, including an outdoor garden centre. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The shop offers a free 'click and collect' service with in-stock items usually available to collect within an hour. They have recently removed most of the tills here in favour of self-service tills. There are a couple of staff members nearby to offer assistance if required. The shop shares a large car park with the other shops in the retail park. There are around 10 disabled spaces located immediately opposite the shop entrance with a few other spaces dotted around the car park.
