Made to wait 4 days for a prescription for my 12 week old non dairy milk. Called up to chase it up to be told they don't send prescriptions to pharmacies. Spoke to pharmacy who told me they had received 3 prescriptions today alone for other patients and was advised that whoever I spoke to at the surgery had no clue what they were talking about. Pharmacy now dealing with this matter because the surgery is absolutely useless.

Quite incompetent. Lack of procedures or internal communications. Ridiculous inability to make forward planning appointments. Messed me around way too much with their incompetence

The experience with the last three doctors I've seen here has been exceptional. They were attentive, listened to my concerns, and demonstrated genuine care in thoroughly investigating the symptoms or problems I've been experiencing

Excellent drs surgery for children. My son is nearly two and we?ve always had excellent care at PHP. Recently he had an ear infection and the doctor examined his Paddington bear before examining him so that he wasn?t scared and it made a trip to the gp much less daunting. The staff always go above and beyond and I?m really pleased with the care we?ve had.

Poor system put in place for non registered children that require temporary medical attention. I have to physically take my unwell daughter into the GP, fill in a form (as they have to use scanner from the 1980s) then take my daughter back home and then wait for an appointment for me to then take her back in. Why not offer to email out the forms or make them available on your website, it is 2023 after all.

My 18 year old daughter has been to hell and back and Im not joking, today I had to literally carry her into the surgery, the manager/supervisor was so understanding with my daughter and me, the doctor was fantastic, we went straight emergency to a department in the hospital, they treated my daughter within a hour and I took her home.I cannot thank these people enough.

First time I saw a doctor today and he refused to discuss my 2/3 concerns which I thought were probably connected. Felt totally ?fobbed off?. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes

This surgery has always been incredibly accommodating to me. I see your reviews regarding calling at 8am which I have to say is a bit of a ball ache but if you have a serious issue which requires immediate help on the day and you aren't offered an appointment via the 8am call I find expressing your concerns to the receptionist is always taken on board and looked at by a GP on the day. Dr Froom and Dr Griffin are exceptional doctor's within this surgery and have provided me with fantastic NHS care above and beyond their protocol.

Really outdated way of working. Ring at 8am and try and get an appointment. Ring any other time of day they are not interested in helping. No good when you work full time. Paid to see a private GP instead - wish could opt out of paying for this practice every year - don?t forget they are a private enterprise.

Had the same experience with one of the receptionists very rude and unhelpful the others were great. The doctors there fixate on one diagnosis and don?t investigate other things you have to fight to be heard, even when your proved correct in things you have asked them to test and refuse for months on end! Very uncaring and not interested attitude fob you off with their magic drug anti depressants every chance they get! Absolute waste of a service they need a better appointment service more doctors more receptionists and doctors that actually care.

Be mindful -"The Surgery is currently experiencing a high volume of calls. You'll be routed to the surgery as soon as possible". This is constant, not exceptional. High volume means "same as usual.""You are number 15 in the call queue. Please continue to hold and an operator will be with you shortly" is wishful thinking. After 40 minutes or so, you reach the top of the queue, hear another recorded message and get transferred to a fresh queue."Your call is in a queue, please continue to hold" I did.I got through after 50 minutes and the receptionist was lovely.

Started calling at 8. At that point I was 87th in queue. Got through to receptionist at 9.23 and got an appointment via a very helpful receptionist. But surely there's a more humane queuing system? I appreciate the queue provides a gatekeeping role but even so, feels like the last 2 expansions in previous 4 years was a step too far for the surgery.

It is impossible to get an appointment. My daughter's test results has come but I couldn't see or speak with doctor and they don't give any appointment for the future you need to call very early morning and if you enough lucky you can get one for the same day.

Rang at 8am, wait until 9:20am with 47 calls ahead of me only to be told that there are no appointments left and I can only call again the next day. Three days later and still trying with the same response. The running of the surgery has gone down hill dramatically since COVID and the surgery merger. So disappointing as the doctors are really lovely, when you get to see one!

My neighbour is nearly 80 years old. She has had excruciating back pain for over a month. Her first contact with this surgery resulted in a prescription being written without any physical examination.. That in itself is unacceptable. She is still in severe pain. I wrote to the surgery on her behalf requesting advice re the medication, was it a short course? Should she continue with it? This resulted in a receptionist telling her to take alternative painkillers as a prescription would take 72 hrs. Since when have receptionists been trained to give this sort of advice?? Totally uncaring and disgraceful in so many levels.
