Had a very nice Welsh Rarebit over here. There was a little inconvenience that was quickly fixed. There is a nice atmosphere and the decoration is just amazing.

Love this idyllic tea room so much ?That was my second visit in 2 different seasons and amazed of how the leaves changed from fully green into entirely deep red ?You?re recommended come in end of September before they?re falling apart in October and totally gone afterwards? The best spot to take pictures are from the bridge or across the river?

Disappointing... We've been here a couple of times a few years back, but this recent visit was very poor. Waited for ages for someone to take our order, then we were told the kitchen misplaced our order (there were only 4 tables with people on when we were there), when the food eventually arrived it was missing a couple of key ingredients. Others around us appeared to be having a similar experience. We used to love it here, but I don't think we'd be going again in a hurry...

Lovely little tradition tea room with a cosy atmosphere and stunning scenery. Taking you back to the time of the 15th century. We ordered chocolate cake, jacket potato with cheddar cheese and red onion with salad, home made coleslaw (instead we got potato salad), chutney on the side and cup of tea. It's official hygiene level is rated 2. It's recommended to reserve a table as it can bevery busy.

Busy. Good food, a little pricey. Cold room.

The food we did receive fine, but the service was appalling. Only part of the order arrived. After some time we enquired about missing bits, a member of staff came out to check what was missing & said they would be out asap. Again, after a long wait, we still only received a few of the missing items. Very very disappointing, especially as we were made to feel like it was all our fault. I'd suggest that when a situation like this arises, you send a senior member of staff to deal with it and not leave it to your young and inexperienced members of staff.

Suprise to find the little place. Food all hand cooked and large servings. We had a pate platter . Came with plenty of toast a nice salad and chutney . Scone clotted cream and superb strawberry jam and large pot of tea. Will be calling again for afternoon
