As good as ever. Haven?t been in for a while and popped in to have a coffee and bacon batch before watching the Tour of Britain flash by. Wasn?t disappointed as the welcome was as friendly as I remember and the coffee and bacon batch 10/10.

Friendly, family-run business with attractive seating options both indoors and outside in a courtyard. Good coffee and home-cooked cakes. (Opening times in Google are probably the associated village shop?s opening times rather than the café. Might be worth updating those.)

This is one of the main reasons we moved to Aldford! We?re so lucky to have Lily?s cafe and the village shop right on our doorstep?All the food is excellent quality and all home made. Cakes, coffee and the most delicious sandwiches, or why not share a charcuterie board and bottle of fizz with a friend?! ?Outside courtyard for cyclists and walkers or sit in one of the comfy armchairs people watching?Can?t recommend this cafe enough - even if we didn?t live here we?d definitely visit ??????????

There was only one person covering the coffee shop and village store. It had been posted on Instagram that this would be the case from 11 to 2 but we arrived at around 3.30. I sat outside and my husband was happy to wait in the coffee shop while the assistant served coffee to a couple and served people in the village store- they had arrived before my husband. The assistant was aware that my husband was waiting to be served in the coffee shop . However, a customer arrived in the village store after my husband and she was served . Then the assistant and customer carried on having a conversation - they obviously knew one another and were having a good chat! My husband was completely ignored. He left. This was extremely rude.

Great place to stop off after a walk, well behaved dogs allowed. They have a very popular take away sandwich service...they look tasty..yet to try.Parking: Parking opposite.

My friends and I decided to come here for lunch today! I had the BEST Cheese & Ham Toastie EVER!! The lady serving us was super nice! Nothing was too much trouble. We all loved the food and really like illy coffee. Big Plus! We will definitely be back!
