This supermarket would be great if it weren't for the very poor fruit & vegetables. They are always past their best.

A bit expensive and small but has quite a lot of things you could need throughout a week, good for a little shop. Overall great little place to shop for groceries.

Better than a spar, not as good as tesco. You get the idea

Good little supermarket, lots of variety in fresh produce including flowers, meat, a deli and a bakery which I was impressed to see included cherry pie. Some grab-and-go-options for lunch including hot food. Prices pretty good, very similar to Co-op. Card machine wasn't contactless and til staff weren't particularly friendly.

Filco, the local supermarket in the beautiful town, Cowbridge. Staff are great, very friendly. Love this place. Fresh fruit and veg, literally. All locally grown. They have a section where meals and deserts are made very locally, frozen and a huge delicious selection. The cheesecake is particularly amazing. Great little supermarket ?

Filco a lovely supermarket on the main street in Cowbridge. The meat counter has lovely Gammon joints at great prices and very helpful staff. For the keen thrifty shopper they also have meal deals which are great value printed in there weekly news sheet. You can always find good value produce in this store.

Very poor experience. Had to queue for over 10 minutes, lots of staff on but none jumped on the tills to help out.

Filco Foods is a regional chain that is 100% Welsh. Being smaller than the global chains they probably haven't been able to negotiate the same level of discounts as the big boys, but thankfully they are not too much more expensive. Besides, as far as I, and many others are, concerned, paying that little extra to support a Welsh business is worth every penny... it's always good to see independents giving the overlords a run for their money!!! I used to regularly do my weekly shop here when I lived in St Hilary. It stocks everything that you can feasibly want, and so there's no need to go anywhere else. Great!

This store always used to have a slightly old fashioned feel to it. It was the only supermarket in Cowbridge and for miles around. It seemed to operate on that old adage of' pile it high and sell 'em cheap.' However, over the last few years, two rival supermarkets have opened in the town, Tesco Express and Spar. This has had a positive effect on Filco Foods. They had and still have a loyal customer base who would not dream of shopping elsewhere. For a start, they are still the supermarket closest to the town's free car parks. Secondly, they are still the largest supermarket in Cowbridge. However, it is noticeable that the special offers have increased and the displays instore have become more appealing.
